We call that a 'glorified state' --- and God is going to return this universe to its glorified state (with some modifications) in the future.
Yes, I know. May 11, 2011.
The anticipation is killing me.

No.
After the next dispensation --- which will run for 1000 years.

Notice the 'passed away' there?

All the elements on the Periodic Table are going to be affected.

But in the meantime, back to Genesis 1, eh?
Nope. Harold Camping is a literal KJV'ist. He has a few more years than you, so I think he knows what he's talking about. If he uses the KJV claim that the end is May 11, 2011, then who are you to say he isn't?

The end of what?
Which dispensation is he talking about?
The end of this current one?
In other words, is he talking about the Rapture (which is the beginning of the end of this dispensation); or is he talking about the Great White Throne Judgment (which is the end of the next [and last] dispensation)?
(And the King James doesn't claim any end to be 11 May 2011.)

You obviously haven't studied the KJV to the extent that he has.
He claims the date of the rapture is May 21 (not eleven, my error), 2011.
The end of the world is October 21, 2011.

What's the point of 4004 bce, if the world is ending in just over two short years?
The creation week, we get it, six literal days, then god rested. Case closed.

I'll take any questions you may have on the Creation Week and try my best to answer them from a Biblical perspective.
I'll even throw in some educated guesses, opinions, and ad libs ---
Why did an eternal, self-existing being wait until 6000 years ago to create the universe?

"If God sent a wind from space, and blew waters off the surface, for example, the waters would go down. Just as if you take a cup full of water over a sink, and blow hard on it, a lot will go out of the cup. Elementary." -dad ^This statement nullifies his own argument by comparing a "present state" event to a "past state" event!
Which is why after about 13.7 billion years, things are just right.
