Although I remain a sinner whose righteousness is as filthy rags, the God of the universe still hears and answers my prayers. He does so because He loves me and because I am purchased by the blood of His son. My testimony does not include any flowery stories about how I overcame sin, for I have not overcome sin. Rather, my assurance of salvation is built on Jesus' blood and His righteousness and not on anything that I do.

After years of infertility, God had compassion on my wife and me and, in His perfect timing, he dropped into our lives a beautiful baby girl who needed parents. We weren't looking to adopt and had no idea that God had this wonderful gift in store for us. The adoption experts confirmed that an adoption scenario such as the one we experienced is truly rare. Imagine our surprise when God performed this miracle not only once, but twice. Four years after our daughter was born, God dropped a beautiful baby boy into our lives. We had given up on the idea of adoption again, but God had a perfect plan. In our minds, there could be no question that God had intervened.

God's miracles aren't built on our dreams, our time table or anything that we do to earn or deserve them. God's miracles are built on His sovereignty, His timing, His dreams for us and the things He does to bless us, His children. Praise God for His amazing grace!

I can't get over how much of a blessing this website is becoming for me, getting to read such wonderful stories of what God has done for others. This is awesome.

Thank you both for sharing!

Your english was great. No worries. You did very well and it was an inspiring read. I think that sometimes when we are communicating God's truth, He steps in and helps us to word it better than we normally could.

Did you happen to have titles that you would like those stories named?

That's so awesome! He's actually impressed in my heart the desire to adopt when I am in a situation to do so -- which is the opposite of anything I ever planned. Praise the Lord for providing a home for those kids.

Do you have a title you'd like your story/testimony to be named?

My Goodness, where to start! Too many too count over the years!

One miracle that happened last night: The country where I live was bracing for a hurricane to hit, and it's customary (and smart) to fill the tub up with clean water, in advance, for various uses in case the power goes out. Just as I was about to start filling the tub - you guessed it -the power went out. No lights and no power source for running water. My 6 year old son came running into the bathroom to me for sheer fear of the dark. And right there in the bathroom we decided to exercise our faith and ask God to put the power back on for at least just enough time to fill the tub. As I prayed out loud for the miracle I was also praying inwardly for just enough faith as a mustard seed to believe God would actually answer such a prayer (since under normal hurricane circumstances, once the power goes, it's gone for a while). Anyway, about 5 minutes after the prayer the electricity suddenly kicked back in and my son and I rushed to the tub in a flash to fill it up while praising God. The craziest part is that not a moment after we had filled the tub, the power went out again - for good! For a second, we both stood there in share amazement before finally letting out more praises and thanks to our Heavenly Father who supplied just what we needed. And we had confidence that he would be with us through the entire storm.

I haven't atually thought of titles for those. It escapes me now.

But, here's another one:

"My life, safe in your hands, Lord."

A few weeks ago, I had my feet in a foot spa after a long day at work. I heard a bang, and saw that one of the lights on the unit went out. I was wondering whether I should take my feet out before getting electrocuted. I heard a voice that said "My child, relax, you are safe."

A while later, as I looked down, I heard a really loud bang, and saw a white flash under the pastic of the foot spa. Obviously, the water seeped into the eletrical connections and caused 2 short circuits. Instead of fearing for my life, the most wonderful peace came over me. I just sat there, without a care in this world, and some time later got up and dried my feet. Again, the Lord spoke: "My child, you must never use that thing again. I forbid you. I strictly forbid you from using that thing ever again. You must discard it."

Had it not been for the Lord's hand that kept me safe, my life might have ended right there. But thank the Lord, I'm still safe and sound. It reminded me once more how dependant we are on the Lord - every minute of every day. Glory to God the Almighty!

Thanks again guy! Wonderful and inspiring stories.

Sorry for the slow reply. Been going through some more trials recently that's been distracting me from being able to work on the site. (Satan never likes it when we do God's work. ) However, it's nearly done and I can't wait to share it with you all.

I'll have all the stories added when the site's launched, too. So, those of you who have submitted some will have to come and let me know what you think.

Of course, I'm still looking for more stories/testimonies if anyone's got some.

God bless and thanks again!

Here are some stories you can use

One morning I got up and walked into the hall and I heard a voice say "How would you like to be stabbed in the Valley". The Valley was the rough end of town, and the voice scared me a little, I wondered if I had done something to offend God. I had planned to go down to the Valley to ask people out to church as was my habit at the time. In the end I went anyway regardless of the fear. I walked up to the first person I met and asked him if he would like to go out to church. He said to me "I am an atheist, I don't believe in God". I just said "fine", but hoped to change his mind. He then proceeded to unbutton his shirt and showed me scar marks up and down his chest and stomach. He said to me, "I was attacked by a knife wielding man in the Valley some time ago and spent months recovering in hospital, How could God allow that to happen to me". Then I knew why God had said in the morning "How would I like to be stabbed?". God understood this man, but had a good plan for him. Some weeks latter this man came out to church and became a Christian.

Some time after the second Gulf War an Australian man Douglas Wood was captured by terrorists in Iraq, who made demands for a ransom or he would be executed. I set about fasting and praying for his release, I said to God "You know where he is....tell me". Three words entered my mind ABC, Bizaar and "A-meal". I thought "I am going crazy what has all that got to do with him. Bizaar I though "this is Bizarre". I thought maybe "A-meal" is a town so I searched a map of Iraq for a town of that name, but found nothing that really matched. Some time latter Douglas Wood was freed by US troops who came across his captors. It was not until latter that I actually discovered what the three words meant. I was on a forum libertyunites.us and came across a post by a user called ABC in the post she appealed to the captors to release Douglas Wood because he had gone to a/or the Bazaar and bought food for homeless people and had provided them with "A-meal". I believe God saw this action too and blessed Douglas Wood with an escape from his captors.

One time I thought about suing some one but felt bad about it because I did not want to give a bad impression about what a Christian is like. So I prayed and asked God to show me clearly what to do. Latter that day I opened my bible at random, selecting a random verse and it opened to 1Co 6:7 "Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded?" So I knew what God was thinking, no lawsuit.

At one point in my life I was praying for scientific cures for illnesses like cancer. Because I was on a science kick I thought would it not be fun to create a real life dinosaur. I wanted Jesus just for fun to show me how to create a Real Live Dinosaur, he can show us anything you know if he wants, but when I asked him how to start recreating a Dinosaur. Jesus spoke into my head the sentence "I bood", it entered my mind when I was awake, a term I had never heard before. I decided to look it up on the Internet and I found out the following: You see, the children of Semai are taught from an early age, the concept of "bood." If a parent asks a child to do something and the child replies "I bood," in other words, "I don't feel like doing that," the matter is closed. Bood means gently No.

One day I was witnessing to a Muslim and he asked me why we ate pork. I used the verse out of the bible which says "It is not what enters the mouth that defiles a man but what comes out of the mouth". After some general discussion I finished for the night. I asked God to give me a verse from the bible to encourage me. I opened the bible at random and selected a random verse. It opened to the exact same verse that I had used with the Muslim. The one about food not defiling. So I knew that God was approving of what I had been talking about.
"What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him "unclean.'"- Mat

Just the other day, the Lord prevented me from being involved in an accident, at a green traffic signal. The signal was green, and someone came flying through the intersection. Normally, I would have gone, but this time He made me wait just long enough. How awesome is our God!

Shoved by an angel

It was one of those cold drizzly evenings around Valentines day of '98 in Ohio. We were going to south-west Michigan to see my daughter at university. My wife was driving. She knew it was dangerous and she was in a bit of a pickle - she wanted to drive slower but then the traffic behind her was much too close. Just as she came on an overpass over a major interstate the vehicle began to drift - sliding on a thin film of ice. The front left corner of the van tagged the cement barrier in the center median. That tag was enough to bend the bumper so you couldn't straighten the steering without shredding the tire. Except for about 6 inches of the rear bumper we came to rest off the road over the yellow line. I am mechanicly inclined and often have tools of some sort nearby. So I went to the back of the van, opened the doors and was looking for something to use. I knew I was in a dangerous place and kept looking back. Then I was looking up at a guard rail with my wife over me.

The family says I was able to give a warning just before the little Mustang traveling at high speed hit the van where I was standing. It is said that when an angel signally intervines there will be evidence. The evidence here has several elements. I wan't crushed between the vehicles. The back of the van was spun to the left by the impact. With the doors of the van open a door could have been expected to catch me and slap me to the middle of the road but I went the other way and was smacked up against the guardrail. A truck driver who saw it happen was amazed that neither the van or I went over the guardrail to the highway below. I woke up periodicly, did some self-analysis, and was able give instruction to my wife and EMT about what was needed.

I have a plate in my left forearm to deal with a double break, had a broken ribs and a collapsed lung, a filter was installed in the lower vena cava to catch a clot that might have been released from the right knee, and the right knee had to be rebuilt, among other more minor insults. While it is true ER personell think in terms of the worst so they can take preemptive measures they had seen my kind before. They told my wife there was a fair chance I would not walk or walk well again, and due to head trauma there was a chance I wouldn't have enough brain working to return to work.

Three weeks later (and that included getting the knee rebuilt) I was back in church Sabbath morning laying on the back pew with my head propped up on the low wooden arm looking up sideways at the pastor. I was mostly out of it but I was there. People would give me a long look like they were wondering if I would ever be right again. Of course, I bore little resemblance to just a month before. In a few weeks I was out the wheelchair, then off the walker, then onto a motorcycle I had to push start! In May I returned to work at reduced hours for a couple of weeks then to full time. At that job I was an engineering technician and part of new product development/sticky problem solving team. I was pegged as a trouble shooter for the team and company. I was a little slow for a while but was able to get back into it like nothing ever happened. I am now in another R&D department.

It looked like a rough job but the angel was really very much on the mark.
The recovery has been miraculously remarkable. I can run, jump rope, climb trees and ladders. Another sidelight I find interesting is that I had just received a BA in theology barely a month before the accident. God really has a plan for me, somebody else wanted to rub me out. I sense that He has a major chapter yet for me to write for Him.
