Sorry it did not help. However the only thing I know that is 100% sure is scripture.
I have had to learn to take what scripture says about me as the absolute truth. Stand on it, believe it, say it, no matter how rotten I felt.
You know what.
The reality of the power of the scriptures overcomes the "facts" of what we feel.
To a person who is struggling to get out of bed in the morning, reciting scripture is just like something else to add to the huge list of stuff that they are already struggling with doing.
Then they end up feeling worse because thats another thing they havent managed to get done
Sometimes giving a person who is struggling the room to vent, or ask them "How can I best support you" is one of the most wonderful things you can do for them.

Hey Sue - how's it going today gal - shove a chair under your feet so you can rest from hanging on - I know you're hanging on because you know there is someone out there that can use your Godly wisdom and needs lifting up also and you always do it.
God always sends people that are just hanging on your way because you always know just what to say and even in your dispair you can lift them up.
You are one of the strongest people I have ever known - I have a bad day once in awhile and just feel so sorry for me, it is me, me, me - but you don't do that - you can still see the need in others.
God is so proud of you - you are a warrior in good times and bad - I pray this will be passing very soon and that precious brain again begins pumping out the good chemicals.
I know you don’t really want scripture thrown at you, but just wanted to share this with you.
One of my favourite verses I have ever read is this one.
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:4-7 Niv.
What do I like about this verse?
I like the fact it tells us to come to God with our problems but also how it tells us to come to God, to approach God with Thanksgiving.
This for me then echo’s the Lords prayer which begins with Praising God for who he is before the request of meeting our daily needs is asked.
Although not easy by any approach, especially when things look grim. I do try to hold on to this truth in my very erratic prayer life. To approach God first with thanksgiving no matter how dire I feel my present situation is.

Right now I am going through terrible times in my family.. My hubby left me and the children.. and I have been praying for him for years and years and years.. so I feel for you because it sucks.. But I am not going to give up.. not.. not.. not.. Ha.. ha.. sorry but the stronger I stand the more joy I feel.. because I am not relying on anything that can be shaken..
I encourage you to not look at anything that is horrid.. even trust that which you feel etc.. because anything bad.. is not of GOD.. it is not HIS way.. and it isn't for you.. even if it has come to rob you and it is very real.. it is not for you.. it is a lie.. and straight from the pit of hell..
Meditate on HIM... HIS way which is life and health to all your flesh.. replace anything and everything with HIM.. praise lifts burdens.. casting out evil thoughts.. and rebuking anything bad over and over till it leaves.. it is OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT.. and calling those things that be not as though they are... YOU WILL COME THROUGH.. YOU WILL.. YOU WILL...
Right now.. world wide we are taking a beating and maybe not just a beating but being pulverized to a kind of death but this means that we have only one hope.. JESUS CHRIST who has risen from death so we could have this life... ever lasting that doesn't just start when we die.. but the moment we are born again into it..
I believe something far greater is happening and we are going to rise up new.. unbeatable.. and take on the very forces that seem to be winning but in fact have lost.. You are not alone.. you are prayed for.. loved.. and very very special.. YOU are a conqueror.. my precious sister!! We both are.. (((HUGS)))

Because He is not done with you yet - you touch many, many people - that is your anointing - you lift up many people, even in your times when you need lifting up yourself. Your reward will be great because even when you don't feel like it and God sends someone across your path that needs a word - you are there.
But I am not going to give up.. not.. not.. not.. Ha.. ha.. sorry but the stronger I stand the more joy I feel.. because I am not relying on anything that can be shaken..
