Secrets in Salt
Hi all. My first thread here...hopefully posting in the correct place.
Anyway, just wondering who caught this segment on PBS's Nova Science Now last week. I can't post links yet, but you can find it easily enough by googling Nova Science Now and looking for "Secrets in Salt".
The neatest part is that the molecules (cellulose in this case) trapped in the Permian salt bed inclusions are the actual organic molecules, not fossils. Very cool.
ETA: I realized today that I think I completely blew locating this thread (didn't scroll way down to the bottom of the main page.) If the mods would be kind enough to send it to the appropriate place, that would be great.
