Your icon says you are Australian. Why are you so interested in American health care?
There is a big difference between saying "I would like to see" and "this is whats going to happen"
Why am I so interested in American healthcare, your current system is a travesty when members of the richest nation in the world cant afford basic healthcare.
Or when US citizens have to resort to taking old medications which can cause and is well documented for causing major and often permanent neurological disturbances just because their medical insurance wont pony up the dough for them to recieve the newer medication with far less side effects
Or when US citizens with terminal cancer are choosing to die in New Zealand because if they went back to the states, they would have no means of support and leave their relations a legacy of death
When I graduate I'm heading off on a working holiday and I want to decide whether I'd choose to work in the states. At the moment I'd rather head to somewhere like Bangladesh, they may have no health care system but at least theres no pretext of one either

gotcha, and I agree except that now most are so distracted by the material world that the people have changed, I dont see a yippie movement happening( would love to start it) so lets me ask you this : if in the 60's there were all the same material things and distractions as 2009 that the protest/yippie/civil rights, etc movement would of happened? I'd have to say no because the same movement should be occurring right now if the people haven't changed. |
