Exactly. It is the office held by the Pope, and the authority that it assumes; an authority that is only found in Scripture, not in the office of men.

Keep in mind also that the 'Antichrist' comes from within the Church.
If you want a source that's still very easy to understand, but that still does a great job of explaining what Lutheran Christianity is all about, I would suggest

Start with The Small Catechism (it's all right here at TCL in a "sticky"). Veith's book would be an excellent starting place once the Catechism is well read.
