Given up by God, no more chance for salvation.

I think perhaps this may help some of you understand more clearly on what I fear when I have told you all that I think the Holy Ghost of God has deserted me. Please watch this video, it explains it all.

As some of you know I have lived long years of open rebellion with God and I believe he reproved me many many times yet I hardened my heart and now I fear that the worst has happened to me as it did with the youngman in this video who rejected Gods call to salvation one to many times.

Robert, God will never give up on you. There is always a chance for salvation, as long as you have breath. Repent of your actions and as Him to forgive you. He will. When you fall, get up, repent and ask for forgiveness again, and go on. God has not given up on you, and never will.

Robert, Satan wants you to believe that God has given up on you. On this side of Heaven there is always a choice, and God is always ready to forgive someone who repents.

So pray for forgiveness, and ask God for an increase in the theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, so you will be able to grow stronger in your faith. Also one thing that has helped me is when I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is thank Jesus for another day, and I offer my day up to Him, and I have to ask for help to do this....that is to say, I ask for help to do His Will and not my self will, which can get inbetween me and my friendship with God.

Peace be with you....Pam

Im sorry but I dont believe in the saying that as long as you have breath you can be saved.

You have to get saved when God is convicting you with his Holy Spirit. A man cannot just get saved whenever he decides to, its all up to God and as this sermon shows it is possible for God to give a man up.

Do you believe that God will answer the prayers of the faithful? Because I and others are praying that the Holy Spirit would work on you. Given how much trouble this issue is giving you, I'd say that it's working

RobertZ, you wouldn't be here posting what you're posting if God had given up on you. God is always willing to forgive when we repent. Remember that Jesus is like His Father. Remember the Father in the parable of the Prodigal Son. He is waiting for you to come home to Him and He will welcome you home.

Then please explain what happened to this guy mentioned in this video that the preacher was preaching about.

This guy apparently crossed over the deadline and lost his chance to be saved. He became ill and died on his deathbed without Christ.

I love this poem...

"Where are you going Shepherd?
To find My sheep.
How far will you go?
As far as My sheep.
How far may that be?
To the world's end.
How long will you seek it?
Until I find it.

When you find it,
will it come to you?
No, it will flee from Me.
Where will it go then?
To the rocks and the sand.

When will it stop?
When it can run no more.
What will you do then?
Carry it home."

Don't count on your feelings... they are never the same from one day to the next. REGARDLESS of how you feel, whether feelings of conviction or not, He's after you!!!!!

btw... the preacher is trying to play God... don't listen to this rubbish!

The guy in the video that the preacher was talking about was delusional. You can't be guaranteed to go to hell when your still alive. The man felt like something inside him died? Good news----feelings don't count. Have you ever read the lamentations of Job? And the man was deluded that he could not come to Christ if he was addicted to a sin. The Church IS for sinners. Whoever says otherwise is mistaken. Come to the Church to help you get rid of your sins.

If you want to hear stories of people who have escaped the same darkness, you should listen to the testimony of Father Corapi, a former drug addict and sinner of every kind, and he once said he felt that the devil had towed his soul into the farthest reaches of space and cut the line. That is despair. That is what the guy in the video experienced that this preacher was talking about. You should hear the story of Moira Noonan, who was involved with the occult and had lingering attachment from the demonic. Yet she escaped out of the jaws of hell into the arms of Christ. Free MP3 of her testimony here. Her book is called Ransomed from Darkness.

No one is lost until they are IN hell. You're not. The guy mentioned in the preacher's video was not when he said he was dead inside. No matter if your sins are as scarlet, they can be made whiter than snow by the blood of Christ, as Scripture teaches us. Even if a person feels impenitent now, he can accept the grace of Christ which is given to everyone, and have his sins cleansed, and become a new person.

It doesn't matter if you've been impenitent for 10,000 days in a row, cursing God at every step. You are not impervious to the power of Christ. You are not stronger than the power of Christ. If you obey Him and give Him an inch, He will take you to untold summits.

Hey bro,

Speaking as someone who has wrestled with this issue perhaps too much, I can say that you haven’t done this. I can tell by watching the video and reading your post.

When he started talking about the man who would not repent, did you notice the way that the boy spoke of the situation? He said that something had died within him in that moment; what does that mean? It means not only does he not want to come to Christ, but has been disabled from doing it. If you will, God let it be so that he could not repent. The Holy Spirit has abandoned him to his choice, and so this man doesn’t even desire to repent. That boy said “I can’t give my heart to Jesus.” It had become an impossibility.

That isn’t you. You are still in that moment where you are capable of repentance. I know because I see you want to, and so the Spirit has put a life in you that enables you to. A man cannot repent on His own; it must be the work of the Spirit in him, because man is dead to the things of God, but God brings him to life so he may repent. When that boy rejected salvation for good, because he had resolved in his mind that his love for sin was greater than that for God, that life was taken away. I should say, that capability was taken away. He was abandoned to his sinful nature. Repentance is something that is only possible by the Spirit of God, and when you repent of sin, that is the work of the Holy Spirit in you. That is your depravity being overridden. The good news is that you still sound repentant

You’re not done, bro. God has not handed you over to strong delusion because you are still open to the truth; such a man to be handed over is one who knows the truth and will not accept it, no matter how much it convicts and convinces him. Such a man is one who says, “I will not accept Christ because then I have to give up my sin.” This really does not sound like you, by the very fact you still want Him.

There's been people living in rebellion against God far longer than you have, and they still have come to Christ in repentance. Some may fight with God fifty years before finally repenting and accepting Him, but they have not been abandoned to strong delusion. The good news for them is that God was still on the throne of mercy, and so He is for you. I pray God's peace over you, because I can pretty well picture the thoughts running through your mind, and I know how scary they get. But bro, you're safe.

Have you already repented and accepted His salvation? Once again, repentence is impossible without the Holy Spirit.
