I do pray for Obahama, for his salvation, if he is not saved, and that God would use him (Obahama) to ackomplish His (Gods) purpose on this earth.

I have not studied end time prophecy extensivley, but I always wondered why I did not see this country in the prophecy.
Perhaps with the spending frenzy, and all the other stuff, this country looses its independance, or ceases to be.

This is not my kingdom anyhow.

Amen, he is "our" president and it is our responsibility to love & pray for our leaders. There are legitimate issues that need to be discussed but not in a way that tears down, mocks or disrespects him. Christians should be far from sending, reading or forwarding hateful & critical emails against our leaders. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood.

Those who run down their leaders are not praying for them anyway, but we would render our prayers ineffective for our leaders by turning around and criticizing them.

Ananias and Sapphire didnt die because they held back part of the price, they were struck dead because they lied about it. Through the Apostle Paul the Holy Spirit gave each of them an opportunity to tell the truth and repent. They were wanting the same praise and recognition that Barnabus received from the church when he out of his own heart sold and gave all his possessions.

Notice verse 4 especially:
Acts 5:3-5 KJV
(3) But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
(4) Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

(NLT) The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren't lying to us but to God!"

You bring up some good points. God Bless!

One thing I have learned by studying the Word is that we are commanded to pray for our leaders. This includes those we disagree with. I have also learned from one of the teachings of Kenneth Copeland that we forgive everyone, even those we dislike.

So in light of this, I pray daily for the leaders in my country and in the US. I pray that they may be surrounded by Godly people who will lead them towards God and the Word, and I try not to take sides and badmouth any political leader.

Remember that they are mostly working in the natural. Most of them don't know God, or even if they do, they aren't Word people. So they try and operate according to the principles of satan (even if they don't realise it).

So we need to pray for them.

This forum is not exactly 'dedicated to WOF' in the same way as Carm . Concerning certain preachers, alot of people think some are WOF and they really are not. They just believe a few things the same, as most Christians of different persuasions share some beliefs.
You'll probably find most here in WOF are more conservative than some and won't agree with much of the President's views. But we do agree no matter who is in office we are to pray for him and our leaders. Its always God's will first and foremost that we be free to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many as possible and live according to His Word, but many of our freedoms in American that we have known up to now are being threatened. Nevertheless we must not compromise and obey God rather than man if there is any contradiction.
