Under Relaxation there is forums for such non-christian types of music as classical, country, bluegrass, jazz and blues but there is not any forums for other types of non-christian music such as pop, rock, alternative, and independent.
I suppose if you let those genres of music go through than you would have to let all genres go through including rap and metal.
That's why I suggest one forum under Relaxation that is for all types of of non-religious music besides what has been already created (classical, country, bluegrass, jazz and blues). Or create multiple forums for multiple genres.

What we have been trying to do is cut down on the number of forums we have because some of them are quite simply, dead. There have been no posts in a bunch of forums that have now been de-commed, and the fact of the matter is that we still almost have too many forums at the moment under the Christian Forums main header... Some of the ones that you have suggested, while being good ideas, just simply wont get enough traffic to justify having them really.... It's sorta complicated.

Isn't rock/pop much more popular than jazz/blues or even classical?
What about a potpourri free for all music category? Almost all the other arts have a forum. TV, movies, video games, books... but music is just lacking on this site. Secular Music forum and Contemporary Christian attract tens of thousands of posts. Wouldn't pop and rock (for instance) be at least half as popular? Or is music other than christian, classical, country, and jazz just diabolical or something?

If what you say is true we should get rid of all music forums that are not edifying then? I suggest we delete the Country/Bluegrass/Classical/Blues and Jazz forums all together and forget about Oldies, Pop and Rock as well.
Either we should have all types of music -or- only secular types of music. Compromising by allowing Country/Bluegrass/Classical/Blues and Jazz is just wrong.
