Does anyone else know anything about this?

Perhaps it may be best to ask in the Lutheran forum, as I believe (though I may be incorrect) that the Moravians were welcomed there early on.

After reading the linked paper, I suppose not. http://www.mcsp.org/resources/Reiche...pis_Office.PDF
Peace be with you.

You are correct. There are some Lutheran Synods which to claim Apostolic succession as defined in this Forums Statement of Faith. Sorry, ours (LCC) and our Moravian friends do not.
Their view of "Apostolic" is similar to that held by "Non-Apostolic" Lutherans; Our view of Apostolicity (not sure if it is a word) results from our Churches being based on the "Confession of St. Peter" (which we will be commemorating shortly) not on "succession".
Moravians are not "Lutherans" as such, but have adopted the "Augsburg Confession" (but not the entire Book of Concord) as one of their Confessional documents. We Lutherans do however respect their founder Jan Hus, and commemorate him as a "Proto Reformer" and martyr.
Respectfully,
Mark.
