Metro Prayer for July 10, 2009



There has been a rash of violent crimes this summer. Sometimes investigation can be difficult due to the lack of victim or witness cooperation because of fear of retaliation. Pray for protection over those that choose to cooperate with the city police. Also pray for a blanket of peace and protection over the high-risk neighborhoods in the Metro area.




PS 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness
because of my enemies--make straight your way before me.




Recently the ministry, Omaha for Decency, reported that due to the worsened economy, cable and satellite networks are becoming more open to promoting pornography on channels with a large male audience. Furthermore, while these companies are raising prices on other channels, they are actually lowering he prices for pay-per-view porn, in that the lower prices will draw in even more viewers. While profits from TV programs on other cable networks are split with Hollywood, approximately 90% of the revenue from pornography is kept by the cable industry. Pray that the FCC will be diligent in enforcing laws to address indecent behavior on the air waves.


PS 119:36 Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.








Please be in prayer for the children going to area pools. There has been a history of harassment and danger at the city pools. Pray that the Lord would spread his mantle of peace and safety over each pool. Also pray that there would not be one drowning this year.


Also remember to pray for the little six year old girl that nearly drowned last weekend. Pray this would be a summer of fun and safety for the Metro area’s children.



PS 121:7 The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; PS 121:8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

which is a Omaha area group that promotes Inter-faithism and universalism

comes to know YESHUA aka JESUS in his life


and pray both Azriel and Katz realize this universalism stuff is a lie.
