Whenever my boyfriend pops the question (hopefully sooner rather than later), I do want to have pictures taken. His mom has a great camera and has taken photography classes (and really knows how to get some good shots), so she would be an option. We also have a friend who is a photographer who does amazing work. We'll just have to see!

you gave us ideas. my fiance' has a sister with a photography degree and she suggested it but we have not made it to get it done with our wedding months away.

We're saving every extra penny for the wedding and mostly the honeymoon, so we're not going to get any engagement pictures taken.
