looking for church: Cary, NC

Hello,

I am getting ready to move to Cary, North Carolina. I've been looking all over the internet at churches in the area but can't seem to find what I want. Right now, I attend a non-denominational Christian church which I love. What really interests me about it is they get right into the Word, and spend their time teaching instead of practicing religious traditions. I find that I learn so much more that way.

That being said, I'm having trouble finding a non-denominational church down there just by using the internet. Does anyone know of good Christ-centered churches who really focus on the Word (I like worship/praise music too, but strong Bible study is really my focus). Also, would love for the church to be active in smaller groups throughout the week too if possible.

If anyone could tell me of a church like this, or of a better way of looking at and finding churches, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I just found these forums because I am also looking for another church in my area. (I am in Knightdale). I've been struggling with this the last few months. But I ran across your post and wanted to mention a few churches. I've lived in this area for 12 years. I have friends that attend Hope Community Church in Cary and really like it. But I have never been to a worship service there, only to a Christian concert.
Another one in this area (more on my side of town) is C3. They have a church in Clayton and in Raleigh.
Crossroads is an upcoming megachurch that has a lot to offer, although too big for me. But the preacher and music are awesome.

Hey thank you so much for the info! I heard a bit about Hope Community church, I think I'm going to give that place a shot... If it's not what I'm looking for, I'll check out the other ones you recommended. Thanks bunches!
