discovered the key principle in this scripture that would
release their faith to receive all that God has for them.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Those italicized words were added to the original text. So it says, "Believe you receive and you will have." The whole kingdom of God works on this principal. Everything we receive from Him is like that. Add to it, "Believe in your heart AND confess with your mouth" and there you have it.
This was good humbledude. I'm putting this in my mouth right now. "I believe I receive what I pray for." I do! I do receive what I pray for!
Ah, I hear the Lord say, "Consistency." Sometimes we pray and believe, and then stop believing after a time, sometimes a short time. It's not "sounding good" in prayer, it's BELIEVING that makes the difference.
Believing and saying.
Being fully persuaded.

What if each one of us picks a cancer patient and prays for the person for a period of one month, and reports back to the group? Since all words of Jesus are true and Jesus did nothing in secret, we will do this experiment in open. We will just keep the cancer patients' identity undisclosed.
Thanks.
Rupert
PS: Friends, if you are hesitant, please do not join us. We don't want you to suffer unnecessarily. But if you are certain and willing to put your faith on the test, we can prove to the world, both believing and unbelieving, that the word of Christ Jesus is true and destined to be fulfilled.

I would like all the prayers of agreement that the cancer is gone totally from my brother in law Paul, in Jesus Name http://www.christianforums.com/t7370726-5/#post52195929

I'm not so sure about putting a time limit on it. One month? I'll stand however long it takes, for God's Word is true.
I tell cancer to leave my arm. Healing is mine, and I have what I say. I'm fully persuaded Jesus bore ALL my diseases. They're not mine anymore. He took them.
Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, thank You.

I personally believe it is easier to minister healing to another than self. I know a man with a terminal disease. But he goes about to lay hand on the sick and through their healing, his faith in his own healing is increased. I recommend Cindy (assuming it is your name) to consider joining this project.
To the other gentleman whose brother-in-law is sick,
I don't know how to read your post. If you are joining us, I suggest you to choose a person in your geographical area so that you can visit him and pray together, lay hand on him, encourage him by giving him any word that the Lord may give you for him. Of course, we will pray together for your brother in law.
As for me, I am going to choose a name from Wed evening prayer meeting and explain to him what I am going to do. If he agrees, that's fine. If not, I will have to select another name.
Many people, believing or unbelieving, won't let you pray more than once. If your one prayer doesn't heal them, they give up and/or reject you. I am no way near being able to minister healing in one prayer. Selecting a right partner is important in my opinion.
As you can tell from my denomination icon, my training in healing is nowhere near Word-of-Faith-ers. I am as cautious with this project as any one of you may be.

We have a lady in our church who two weeks ago asked us for prayer for her unbelieving (but open) father who was told he had oral cancer. We all prayed and confessed life and health to all his flesh.
The tests came back yesterday - not a sign of cancer. Doctor reckons first set of tests must be wrong.
The lady was bowled over by the Lord and has re-dedicated her life. She wants to get water baptised which she has been dithering about for a few months. I asked her when, she said this Sunday would be fine.
This will be our church's first baptism!
Blessings,
Ben
