But for the first time I am feeling uncomfortable because of something that has been said to another poster I'd love for you to stick around, but you need to understand that you are a guest here, not a member.
I have never hidden the fact that I am Catholic .
May I , in all honesty , ask you how you consider me ?

The Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all that is seen and unseen. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father. Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father through Him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered and was buried;
On the the third day, He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures ; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
He will come again in glory to judge the living and dead. And His kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, He has spoken through the prophets. I believe In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen. If a thing ain't broke DON'T fix it ! To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

Maybe this will answer your question. A big change is coming and it is about time.
Pray for Tonks and the staff at CF.

Like Greg said, you are family.
You do not come here, causing trouble, being abrasive, and arguing every little point ad-nauseum.
The quote of mine you quoted was to a person who has a history here. Not a history of fellowship, however. She was beginning her old habbits already. You may disagree with the words I used or the tone I took, but I was just trying to avoid a repeat of what has happened before, and which had caused no little strife.

"No matter how "right" you may be on various points, you must be diplomatic also. The first and important thing is not "rightness" at all, but Christian love and harmony. Most "crazy converts" have been "right" in the criticisms that led to their downfall; but they were lacking in Christian love and charity and so went off the deep end, needlessly alienating people around them and finally finding themselves all alone in their rightness and self-righteousness. Don't you follow them!..."
-Father Seraphim (Rose)
"Personal opinions have no role in ministry of any kind. When we represent the Church, then we ought only say and do what the Church has asked us to do. All else is wasted energy and an opportunity for sin. It is when we lapse into personal opinions, even when we dress them in the language of the Church, that conflict will arise."

It is sad that there is so much division with defrocked priests who claim to be fully Orthodox leading people astray. There is a Greek priest who left his wife to run away with another woman. He was defrocked but still wears his Roman collar and claims to be a priest.
Old habbits tend to multiply like rabbits.
