This is an excellent book on healing. If I had to title it in the theme of the book you are anxious to read Jim, I would call it: How Healed Do You Want to Be and How Healed Do You Want to Make This World (Because you can be Healthy and You can be a Healer).

To me healed is healed. When Jesus healed the blind man could he see perfectly or would he have needed glasses? When Jesus healed the lepers, did they get all parts of their body back that had rotted away or did they just have to continue life as is? When Jesus rose people from the dead where they walking zombies, or were they full of life?
Sounds like it might be an interesting book, but the title just leaves me wondering. Oh well, it's not my book so it's none of my business

Ya, Jesus healed instantly and dramatically, except for one or two instances when healing came a few minutes later.
Today healing seems to be more like a process.
I dont get it myself
After confessing healing for 23 hours 59 minutes my 24 hour virus broke!

Ya, Jesus healed instantly and dramatically, except for one or two instances when healing came a few minutes later.

I dont get it myself
After confessing healing for 23 hours 59 minutes my 24 hour virus broke!
I do think it important to speak over myself and others what God says..."by His stripes I am healed". If the Lord says I am then I am...despite what the circumstances say. To me, the Truth and the circumstances are not the same thing.
I don't really know how to couple that with what Jesus demonstrated and what we mostly see today. I have seen miracles with my own eyes so I know it does happen, yet it does not appear to happen on the same frequency level that it did with Jesus. Everywhere He went, everyone who came to Him for healing was healed in the circumstances as well. The circumstances changed from negative to positive.
I myself experienced the "process type healing" so I do understand what that is all about. I don't know. With the exception of those "few minutes later" times of healing with Jesus it was instant and it was whole. The only time we see that Jesus was unable to heal was when He was in His home town. And it seemed to be due to the peoples familiarity with His human background.
I think this is just another one of those "I don't know" things.
Anyway, it might be interesting to read what the writer of the book Jim has pointed out says.

I think this is just another one of those "I don't know" things.
A very good answer. I agree. A mystery to me too. But praise God for everyone who gets healed, instantly or gradually.
