Republican Norm Coleman has conceded to Democrat Al Franken in the Minnesota Senate race, ending one of the longest Senate races in American history and clearing the way for Democrats to hold a 60-seat supermajority in the Senate.

He could've done this when he actually lost, but as it stands he lost both the race and his dignity.

I've enjoyed Franken's books and commentary. The Harvard-educated comedian seems to have a firm grasp on the issues, and I am excited to see him put that knowledge to use in the Senate.

I know what you mean. While I'm glad there's a Democrat president, them controlling both houses as well has brought us the Stimulus, Auto Industry Takeovers and now Cap and Trade.
We're only seven months past the election.
