Jaws, Shark Hunting, Expanse Between Waters

Backstory: Oddly, caught that Jaws was on tv and recorded it. Watched it from late night to dawn, and was wondering about how beautiful the whole moral play of it was, noticing that it really caught some deep meaning in human morality: the mayor of the town didn't care some kid got chewed up. The sheriff was slapped in the face by the next victim's widow, and could not refute her, because the widow was right, the sheriff really did let everyone swim again when he knew there was a shark in the waters.

The townspeople all caught what they thought was the shark. It looked like it. But all they really wanted was for their big independence day party and economy to go okay. Nobody stopped to say, "Wait a minute, if that mistake is repeated again, everything will be ruined."

Thing is, I had been thinking a lot on the sailor/fishing symbolism in the Bible, especially in Revelation.

Having had two people mauled by a mountain lion near my old condo, I had thought on bad animals: I am not one who says, "Let's keep them". I would like to see such animals be slaughtered when they come near innocent people.

Dream:

Some men were fishing and I was above the boat watching them. They had caught a huge gaggle of fish. I went and asked them, "How did you do that". I wanted to go fishing too. But I didn't want to catch any other type of fish, because they are kind and nice.

So I went into the water and examined the sharks. One was still alive, it was lanky, lean. It just had grabbed the choice cut on the hook. I was right next to it. I thought, "Problem with these sharks, though, is once they start figuring out these are hooks, they will learn to eat the meat off the hooks and not get caught".

So, I watched: the shark saw it was a trick and it started to pull off the hook when all of a sudden I saw through the shark into its' throat how the hook mechanism worked: on the pulling out action, the hook shot out something at the shark's throat.

Now a shark is a real nasty creature, real mean. So, when the hook mechanism shot into its' throat some, it reacted violently. It got angry and lost itself: and that anger was the very trick of this special hook system. It counted on the fact that the sharks couldn't resist fighting back, and everytime they did -- it caused their own fighting to kill them.

So this new sort of hook would work everytime and they were catching a whole ton of sharks.

I thought, "Well, there just are not enough sharks, though, for such fishing, is there?"

Then, I pulled back and was above the water. I saw two bodies of water. One far away. It was an ocean, but it was as suspended in space. I could see the fish in it. Like a giant acquarium. Though there was no glass.

The other body of water was just like that and where these guys had been fishing. I was above that.

Between the two bodies of water was a great expanse. Like it was all just suspended in mid-air.

And I saw between the expanse another body of water then: it connected the two bodies of water. It was smaller then the other two seas and also was suspended in the air. I could clearly see all of the fish there.

I heard there was a terrible shark problem. The sharks had overbred and taken over this body of water. Like a pipe shut off, it was now shut off from the other two bodies of water.

And I was excited, because there would be so much shark fishing to do for these guys now.
