What do creationists think about creationism targeting young children?

Do you think creationism is right to target young children or should they wait until children can decide for themselves about creationism?

Target? I guess probably about the same time that it will take evolutionists to target them.

As much as they advocate giving both sides "equal time" in science classrooms, they won't do so in the church.

Yes, someone will take over from a society that deliberately teaches its kids to be ignorant.

They will probably have brown eyes and straight black hair. They wont be speaking English and they wont be christians.

How early do kids learn about evolution? Junior High School or High School?

When do they get indoctrinated into creationism and taught lies about science? As soon as they go to Sunday School?

I should think that biological special creationism, like Newtonian mechanics, is kind of the default implicit view of the world that children would have. I certainly can't imagine an eight-year-old precocious enough to understand evolution, let alone accept it.

Speaking of, how early do kids learn about evolution? I don't have a clue. I know that in Malaysia we only learn about it (if at all) at the level of undergraduate biology.

What is 'biological special creationism'? perhaps I should know but I don't.

Hespera sez....I know a guy who was doing basic algebra when he was 3 yrs old.
The basic concept of evolution is very simple. And 8 yr old might or might not be interested but to grasp the idea that living things have changed over time aint that tough.

Lies about science? Oh pleeeeeze!!!!! Kids are taught about God which is what Sunday school is designed to do. It would be counterproductive to teach kids any kind of lies since they will be taught science in due time anyway. There is no indoctrination contrary to your broad brush opinion.
