There is often urban legends surrounding famous people who die that they gave their live to the Lord before they died, Darwin for example. Never something that can be substantiated.

I admit that I felt a heaviness for Michael because what I immediately thought about on hearing his death, was whether he was still on the path of becoming a Muslim/that he was a Sufi Muslim (like his brother) when he died. If there is some truth to these above articles then, God willing the heaviness will lighten a little.

We have someone hear who is heavy Michael Jackson is in hell, but a little less heavy knowing he might have become a Christian. That is why stories like this are invented by people to make the load a little lighter.
Why do we feel heavy about one man though? Remember 150000 people are going to die today. That figure is not including the 115000 babies that are going to be ripped from their mother's wombs and killed today.
My heart goes out to Michael Jackson's family, especially the fact that he has 3 young children and his parents that have outlived their child - nobody should have to go through this, but to get sad about this in a way that we don't for everyone else in the world just shows that we are part of the celebrity culture that the world revels in and we need to renew our minds.
