Dino is no different from bird, or fish, or trilobite regard to this question. It is simply the question about fossils. The answer you know is only a version of the solution, not the only version.
The way to think about it? Again, go back to the Genesis. They were created in Day Five.
So, in order to answer your question, we need to iron out the meaning of Day Five, and its relationship to Day Four and Day Six. I am (not so) sure you understand what kind of problems are involved in this issue. If you do, you can see that either suggestion you made (heard) can be supported by a "theory" (not just an idea).
To be short, the answer to your question is a theological one, but not a biological one. Don't bark on the wrong tree.
As a theological question then every creation story of every religion that can be found on planet earth will have to be consulted. Wont be short, wont answer anything, there is nothing up that tree.
I ought to redraw that picture with non-giant dinosaurs just for the heck of it

Just to respond to the original question, somewhere in the book of Job (the oldest book in the bible by the way) Job describes a , um, a dragon or dinosaur, just to put that fact out there. I personally beleive humna did walk with dinosaurs, although probably not that close together, and that dinosuars died by age.

Curious... is that the only reason that you think dinosaurs and people coexisted?
I'm curious, what exactly do creationists belief whats the deal with dinosaurs?
I think I've seen two explanations so far; either Satandidtit and placed all the fossils just to fool us humans, and somehow god allowed him to do that and never bothered to remove his deception...
Or, and I assume most belief this, (please correct me if I'm wrong) is that dinosaurs lived happily together with humans.
What do you belief and how exactly did it work? Why didn't god stop satan's deception, or how/why did the dinosaurs became extinct? (I assume you don't belief it was a meteorite either..)
Details please.
Thanks.

Are you serious? Or is this just satire?

The FACT is that humans and dinosaurs are separated by 60 million years (not counting birds).

IIRC, one of those creatures so described was a fire breathing creature ("leviathan").
How many fire' breathing ("Out of his mouth go burning lamps and sparks of flame leap out") actually exist?
The bible also speaks of unicorns, satyrs and bats that are birds, not to mention 4 legged insects and rabbits that "chew their cud"..
Please don't take everything from the bible literally.
Understand that much of it (the Bible) was written based upon human myth (satyrs, unicorns, fire breathing water creatures) and misunderstanding (4 legged insects, cud-chewing rabbits and bats with feathered wings, etc etc etc.
It really is as simple as that
