Are Theistic Evolutionists generally liberal?

Hi there. Are Theistic Evolutionists generally liberal in their theology?

Stick around and find out. I think you'll be surprised to hear some rather unorthodox theology from our YEC friends (god-of-the-gaps, what constitutes the image of God, etc.). I can't speak for all evolutionary creationists here, but I'm fairly conservative, myself.

I would say most, not all, Catholics are Theistic Evolutionists and many of those are very conservative in their theology

I lean towards the conservative side of things, though many consider me liberal.

If you mean by conservative, "orthodox," then I'm solidly so.

Well, I am liberal in my theology and am also a Theistic Evolutionist but it certainly is not the case that all Theistic Evolutionists are liberals.

I personally am not, but I can't speak for other TEs.
Perhaps creating a poll would be an easier way to find out?

I'm only sorta kinda a TE: I go with the Framework Interpretation variant of OEC, which allows for TE as a possibility.

I'd say my theology is mostly conservative in a C.S. Lewis/N.T. Wright kind of way.
