The bible clearly outlines the origins of life. The origin of languages. The concept of the one true god. The afterlife. Moral values. Pertinent events in earth's history involving man and god (i.e. the flood)
If you believe evolution and the falsification of the flood why would you not question the rest? (The entire concept of that god, heaven, hell etc.) Logically I've never seen a good refution on why one wouldn't be a fundy YEC OR non-Christian. If you take parts of the bible's very clear messages and accept they aren't true is that really being a Christian? It appears to me as if you pick and choose scripture based on mainstream science and society's morals.
How do Christian Theistic evolutionists justify pushing god further into the gaps?
Why not just pick any random religion or just make one up? Wouldn't that essentially amount to the same thing? |

Truth survives questioning. If you're afraid to question it, it's probably not truth.

In about the same way that most people justify their belief that the earth is not flat, immobile and at the center of the universe. |

I also have a web site on the subject which you may want to explore - 3) You will not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, email address, business, MLM, activity, church, ministry or other entities that you have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion).

I can't remember for the life of me where, but I am sure the bible says the world is actually round, or at least implies it. Probably some Psalm somewhere. Not too obvious, of course, or the medievals might have picked up on it...

God gave you a brain and you are afraid to use it.
How do you explain that?
