Yeah I guess I just don't get some of the things this branch of faith does/believes overall.
Well, the basic thing is to get grounded in the Word. I would say stop trying to figure out why people believe what they believe and figure out what you believe, but do it by studying the Scriptures intently and making a commitment to believe what lies therein and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth.
But basically, we just believe the Scriptures. We take God at face value in a lot of ways. If God says that by His stripes we are healed, then we believe that that is what He means. It is about as simple as that.

Yeah I guess I just don't get some of the things this branch of faith does/believes overall.
Well me it's ok if you can't understand our way of thinking and how God wired us. Not all people have the same kind of faith. Some are through healing, some from emotional, some from deliverance like came from addictions.
I like 1 Corinthians 12:20-31... Please understand my point in this one if that's ok for yah... Read the whole chapter too to understand its content.
20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”
22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,
24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,
25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?
30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.
So my point is, it's ok as long as your faith is in Jesus you're fine. We are here as brothers and sisters in Christ and we help each other. If someone aren't wired like WOF but share the gospel by preaching, prophecies, their health through bible foods, their life with Christ or shared Christ through their talents, I am happy because God used them to influence other people and get them saved. Because for me, preaching the gospel is our primary mission by using how God created us to be.
