Well now i got some thoughts on that...
y'see God created. He created what was good. He loves variety and creatures in all forms as evidenced by His creation. Created He them. It was perfect. He fellowshipped with man, who He created, face to face. There was no sin. There was man, face to face with Him, and there were animals, face to face with Him. As He walked face to face with Adam, fellowshipping and conversing with Him, animals were all around and were in the presence of God. And it was good.
Then sin came. Flesh was destined to die. Corruption had set in. Death was inevitable. And so it was. And so it continued. All that breathed would die.
God missed His walks, His perfect union with man. He missed the creatures He had created. He was separated from all He created.
He was not gonna let that separation be final. He would restore it. And so He did. Through the sacrifice of Himself, in essence, He did. And He started rolling backwards the curse that reared its ugly head at that pivotal moment of sin fracturing His creation from His presence....the enemy thinking it was a final blow and His beloved creation would be forever torn from Him.
But lo and behold, His sacrifice was indisputable to the enemy...seriously, what could the enemy say? That God, You're not good enough to pay the price that i thought was impossible to pay? Well He could not, could He?
and God's plan started rolling into the nether regions of oblivion, the damnation that His creation, His beloved man, ws doomed to previously. And hope was born from the ashes of a forever-ness of separation man was to be imprisoned by in chains meant to last for all of eternity, while the enemy mocked his what he thought was a sure triumph.
But alas for the enemy all doom n' gloom was crushed to smithereens....for there, flickering ahead was a light growing brighter and brighter. It was the new City with God Himself....and all around Him was His beloved man, for generations one could not number, and yes, what was restored all that had been lost....including the creatures that were there from the gitgo......those creatures Adam named, one by one, before the fall, when the world and all of creation was perfect and it pleased God, and He rested.
in the meantime over on the sidelines, watching all of this approaching and knowing his time is shortened is a very desparate, furious enemy yelling out ....like that man behind the curtain in "Wizard of Oz".......but this guy is yelling out for man to not look at God, nor His promises, nor His character, to distract man from seeing God in all His glory, and His truth, and His promises....and He gets louder as the Light gets brighter and brighter....
ok, all this to say....yes there are pets, and thus animals, in heaven
