Could you all pray and see what God shows you for me

I was going to an on fire, deliverance, prophetic ministry but my wife can't handle it because it is to long and radical

We have been having bible studies in our home of which my sons and their freinds come to and my wife is part of it also, but with very little growth

Should I stick with the home bible study or go back to the on fire church, which nobody wants to have anything to do with

Please let me know what God shows you

Thanks

We make Him our dwelling place. He is in us, and we are in Him. Isn't this what Jesus had prayed to the Father?

John 17:21That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.
22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

Yes, we are in Him, and He is in us. What therefore, can harm us? Is it not touching Him? Would anything dare to come against the Lord Most High? satan is no match compared to the greatness of our God and Father.

What does this scripture speak to you?
I love the way you write Cindy.. the enemies are coming against God not us..

These scriptures say.. we must act as God acts.. So He is magnified in us.. so many say.. I want to see God at work.. but they forget apart from nature.. and the heavens above us.. God works through people!!

When people see other people who are doing what God says.. and God is going to glorify Himself through our vessels of clay and these same people are going to know that normal humans are not able to do these things.. then they will recognize God at work.. then their eyes will be opened to see and their hearts to know and respond to God!!

Personally speaking I would want to be in the onfire church.. even if your wife does not come with you at the beginning.. when you come home blazing too many times.. LOL.. she is going to want what you have..

Hi! I can so relate to this! My husband is much more conservative than I am - wants a little of the Holy Ghost, but only in "manageable" doses. The church I wanted to attend was on fire, but the church he wanted to attend is the one we attend now. Its okay, but uninspiring.

Is is possible for you to do both the home study as well as attend the on fire church? I attend a small home group with Nazarenes and gradually, I've been able to spark their curiosity in being baptized in the Holy Spirit. It may be that you've been placed in this small group for the very purpose of setting a fire in them. Its a wonderful blessing to have a group of loved ones together to worship and honor God regardless of their denominational differences. Some "on fire" churches might have great worship services, but lack in their ability to facilitate intimate fellowship.

I'll pray for you. Praying for wisdom and discernment, praying that both your and your wife's heart are open to hearing the voice of God in this situation. Praying that you'll both be lead to fully obey that voice, and that your passion for God grows in whatever church God plants you. In Jesus. Amen.

ral, what are doing for your dog in the way of food? I've never explored animal holistic health.

Thank you friends, for your loving support and prayers.

Cindy, you asked about holistic diet for pets. Well, as with humans, this opens a colossal can of worms!! Essentially there are two polarized camps relating to healthy diets: Completely Raw Foods, or Partially Cooked. Most everyone agrees that commercial pet food is garbage with additives, corn starch, diseased animal remains, and a whole host of stuff you don't want in your pet. Even the more premium pet foods can have fillers that are unhealthy, but for convenience and price, we use them.

When I bought my dog, I started her on completely raw foods, but she reacted violently to them. So I started using the dog food my pet trainer recommended. Now I've started her on a partially cooked diet - somewhat comparable to what a wild dog would eat. Wolfs and wild dogs will first eat the stomach of an animal, which typically would have various greens and wild vegetables in it - think of a deer or goat. Then they would eat the meat, and chew on the bone.

Natural diets are like that. Yesterday, I bought a chuck roast, cut it up and sautéed it a bit to a semi-raw state. I added vegetables and cooked rice (it actually looked pretty good). One chuck roast should feed her for about three or four days - expensive and time consuming, but I'm desperate. (Cows normally would not be eaten, but beef and Labradors and large breed dogs seem to be okay.)

Anyway, that's it in a nutshell. Entire books have been written about vaccines, commercial pet food, and the pet food industry. Interesting stuff if you have the time.

I'm going through a very difficult time, but my heart trusts in the Lord and I will see His salvation.

Praying for you, HEisGood. May the Lord direct you and lead you forth in peace.

Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”

Lord we declare that we are blessed and highly favored of the Lord, your Word is true and we align ourselves with it and we will not suffer lack, the enemy thinks he can attack us through finances etc but you have plans to prosper us and not to harm us and we align ourselves with the truth of your Word. No weapon formed against us will prosper. We have a Heavenly Father who loves us, and he who clothes the s[arrows does indeed care for our every need, for He is Abba Father, our Daddy, and He loves us His children.

I posted this in the Prophetic Practice threadand I am posting it here for you too.

My husband and I were once at two different sides of the Charismatic divide
but I worshiped the Lord in Baptist churches where he felt comfortable and had an active role as a Preacher and Teacher and I would occasionally visit other churches including our current church where there was freedom in the Spirit.

Five years ago we left the Baptist church and moved into a break away church plant which initially my husband was Pastoring for a year until someone else as previously arranged was free to take over as Pastor and my husband found himself pastoring a bunch of Charismatics. He was baptized in the Spirit and started coming along with me on Saturday and Sunday nights when we had no meetings to our current church.

We moved on into our current church a few months after their present Pastor took over and we are both very happy to be in a church that is on fire and we are Evangelizing in the streets, and birthing our own Ministry.

I could very well have walked off and gone my own way church wise years ago because I felt restricted in those days, I had been introduced to the Charismatic Movement in the Seventies, yet for over 20 years of married life I fellowshipped where my husband was comfortable and I learned over the years to call that which was not as though it were and believe that my husband would have a mighty encounter with the Holy Spirit. Well the Lord moved him on, we had met at an Inter- Denominational Bible College back in 1978 but for years he was of a conservative mind set. God wants us to be faithful and pray. He changes things.
