I haven't been able to be here as much. Still homeschooling, caring for the household affairs and now on the brink of starting a job in addition. I will be here much less, maybe not at all. I will be earning maybe a 1/3 of what hubby did, which was a little short of what we needed. But at least it is a start. I obey the Lord today, and one thing leads to another. Who knows where I'll be by the end of the year?
Was reading this just this morning. 2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. 3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
If we veer form our first love it becomes much more easy for the devil to deceive us. In the day we live we must watch that we be not deceived. How do we do this? By simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
I'm sad that you might be leaving, or at least curtaining you're time here, but I fully understand. You've got a lot on your plate girlfriend, and its hard to keep everyone satisfied. Your family has to come first. Love you sister. Ral

Hi, ral! Yeah, I'm not liking the thought of being here less.
I am praying to hear the Lord clearly. I'm fairly certain I know what He is saying on whether to take this paticular job or not. Just want to be sure. Have you been to my "If you could..." thread?

Oh Cindy.. my heart did a downer when I heard you say that.. not that I would stand in your way when the LORD leads.. You are just the only real link I have to a steady believing person online to meet with
YES I know the LORD would provide me with someone.. but do you know how hard people like you are to find!!! You are a precious treasure.. who I KNOW I will have the company of whatever way.. forever!

Believe me, I would miss seeing you. And I would miss being here visiting with ral, Irene, and the many who pop in.

I'm still here! Not working yet, so we can continue. If in the event I do work, please carry on. You can do this without me. It only takes a desire to be strongly knit together in the Lord, to meet frequently with the Word and in prayer, and to encourage. It would be nice for me to stop in and see it still going. I love each one so very much. You're part of my life and I want to stay in touch.
I have been working on building my faith by meditating in the Word. I have been looking at abiding in the Lord in storms, and His provision.
Here are "storm scriptures".
Psalm 62:1 My soul waits in silence for God only;
From Him is my salvation.
2 He only is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken. NASB
Isaiah 25:4 For You have been a defense for the helpless,
A defense for the needy in his distress,
A refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat;
For the breath of the ruthless
Is like a rain storm against a wall. NASB
Isaiah 32:17 The fruit of righteousness will be peace;
the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
18 My people will live in peaceful dwelling places,
in secure homes,
in undisturbed places of rest. NIV
Isaiah 27:2 In that day sing to her,
“ A vineyard of red wine!
3 I, the LORD, keep it,
I water it every moment;
Lest any hurt it,
I keep it night and day. NKJV
Psalm 91:1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge,
if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your home. NLT
Psalm 121:1 I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
3 He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleeps.
5 The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
6 The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon at night.
7 The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever. NLT
Psalm 107:23 Some went off to sea in ships,
plying the trade routes of the world.
24 They, too, observed the Lord’s power in action,
his impressive works on the deepest seas.
25 He spoke, and the winds rose,
stirring up the waves.
26 Their ships were tossed to the heavens
and plunged again to the depths;
the sailors cringed in terror.
27 They reeled and staggered like drunkards
and were at their wits’ end.
28 “Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble,
and he saved them from their distress.
29 He calmed the storm to a whisper
and stilled the waves.
30 What a blessing was that stillness
as he brought them safely into harbor!
31 Let them praise the Lord for his great love
and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
32 Let them exalt him publicly before the congregation
and before the leaders of the nation. NLT
Proverbs 14:26 In the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children shall always have a place of refuge. AMP
Proverbs 18:10The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe. NASB
Psalm 32:6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You
In a time when You may be found;
Surely in a flood of great waters
They shall not come near him.
7 You are my hiding place;
You shall preserve me from trouble;
You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah NKJV

Yeah, me too!
Oh friends, I'm struggling, big time. I've enrolled in a school of supernatural ministry and had my orientation last night. I see so much good, so much promise, but like anything spiritual, it seems that the tares grow with the wheat. One teacher in particular seems......seems harsh, angry, demanding. She wants us to "make a demand on the Kingdom" for provision........I'm so confused. My spirit is heavy and I'm wondering if this is the right place for me to be. I need prayer. I feel as if I've caught something nasty, a nasty spirit of.....something. I don't know. Please pray. Ral

Sure. Sounds concerning.
Draw near to God. He will lead you.
How often do you go? And when do you go back next?

I have accepted the job. I will be the working/homeschooling mom/wife serving the Lord in all I do.
