Good choices this morning - replenishing lost fluids.
Thank You, Lord, for healing GJ. Thank You, no actual harm came to her. I speak to the 'runs' to stay away. I speak to her body to retain every good things and purge away all the bad.
Hmmmm....I pray this for our lives - retain every good thing and purge away the bad.
__________________ When one asked a leader of a Hindu nation what would cause them to move towards Christianity he responded with great clarity and directness, “First, I would suggest all you Christians, missionaries and all, must begin to live more like Jesus Christ. Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”
But the first night there, the whole town experiences the worst sewage catastrophe possible. Sewage in a tropical climate is stifling! That night the overwhelming smell of sewage penetrates your room. The next day when you go to eat, the smell of sewage is everywhere. You step outside, the smell of sewage "knocks you down." No matter where you are or what you do, the smell of sewage is everywhere. How long will you stay?
Well, I live here and have to put up with it after Tropical Storm Fay came through. Do we ever know what you're saying here! P-U!
In the 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 reading, Paul used a known experience to teach a powerful point.
In the time of crisis a Roman general took several Roman legions and attacked the enemy.
When the war ended, the victorious Roman general and his troops would return to the city of Rome.
To honor the general and to celebrate the victory, Rome would have what they called the triumphal march.
The whole city would line the parade route.
The streets were lined with burners that produced clouds of incense.
All the defeated, condemned captives were paraded through the streets with the general and his troops.
To those captives, the clouds of incense were the horrible smell of death.
To the victorious Romans, the clouds of incense was the wonderful smell of victory.
In Paul's illustration:
God organizes the triumphal march.
Christ is the conquering general.
To all people who accept Christ's liberation and salvation, the incense is the aroma of freedom from sin and death.
They have been freed.
The smell is the sweet smell of holiness and purity produced by liberation from the power of evil.
To them, Jesus Christ is the aroma of life.
I particularly like this part. I am still working my way through your post. It's very, very good.

ht Mat 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him bear his cross, and let him follow Me.
I'll never forget, one time at the church where I started preaching and teaching, the sweet old pastor Jack was dying of throat cancer, his wife Faye asked if I would drive him to his doctor appts because I had a Lexus and it was real comfortable, we of course were beleiving God for His healing, but God took Him home after about six months, but a few hours before he passed on, I was praying over him in the hospital room and he was breathing pretty hard in and out, and I smelled a wonderful smell like fresh flowers that seemed to be coming out of him
He was one of the sweetest men of God I have ever met
I wonder if anyone else has had any other simalur experience
Jesus is a sweet smelling fragrance within us
I was at a conference.. and they were speaking of our ability to go to Heaven now because Eph 6 tells us that we ARE seated with Jesus in Heaven.
We were praying & I had my eyes closed. I "saw" this tunnel & felt a light breeze blowing across my face.. and the aroma of flowers.. the most beautiful aroma I have ever smelled..

It's time for me to give my daughter a chance to get online, after she cleans up her room , and for me to work out. Got to keep moving this body or it will get lazy.

This post and your post before it were powerful. Thank you for posting it. I need to go back and read it again. There are so many references to aroma in the OT that I wondered about. I know the olfactory nerve is directly connected to the brain and thus is our most primitive sense (primitive as in basic). I noticed in my practice, that scents do change mood. Depression can be lifted and anxiety can be relieved with different odors. One naturopath that referred clients to me wanted me to use frankincense and peppermint for someone with trauma. I know for me, jasmine is my favorite scent and I love what it does for me.
Anyway, great post!

Sipping on tea.. and bottled water.. keeping it light & hydrating this morning..
I was suprised that my diaphram was not sore.. God did a great job of getting that tainted meal out of my system.. and I give Him Praise & Honor..
Thank you again for your prayers.. I love you..
So glad you're feeling better.

20 days! No way! What did you do? Step on someone's toes? Nevermind, you don't have to answer that publicly, but you can pm me if you like. At any rate, I am glad you're back now.
About aromas.. to the other side.. my hubby has taken to drinking alcohol more.. and I commented to him last night.. that when he was drinking.. and he drinks the Top Shelve spirits.. that i could smell the alcohol very much even in this room where I was.. He being in another room.. And funny that Whiskey is actually called Spirits isn't it! Do you think there is an evil spirit associated with that? Sometimes I am sure the same smell just comes from nowhere and hovers.. while he is sleeping sometimes it does that.. He sleeps on the floor if he has been drinking because he is respectful of me.. and breathing that "stuff" into my face..
Sorry this is not encouraging stuff.. but one of the reason I don't drink at all.. and seemed to fit with the smells.. aroma posts..
