I've been thinking about how the flesh will always cause me to make the wrong choices. The flesh doesn't want to think right, eat right, or do anything right. It is completely self-seeking, desiring only to gratify itself. Afterwards, when things go wrong we have a tendency to blame God, or say, "Why did you let this happen?" Scripture says this.
Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
It's not always easy to turn things around. I've noticed in areas where my flesh has had its way it puts up a fight when I tell it no. I'm so glad the Lord adds this in verse 9.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
I am going to reap! Since I want a good crop I have been sowing good seed. I've been sowing to the spirit and doing things God's way. It is so 'anti-world' way. And it works!

You have always been such a blessing to me and others here also.
You reap what you sow, so you will reap blessings for blessing others. You will reap every good thing for all the good you have sown in others lives. You're an overcomer, more than a conqueror. You are bold as a lion to proclaim the truth of the gospel and you will be rewarded for your faithfulness to the Lord. You have a heart of gold and a heart that is passionate for God and He sees that and will not with hold any good thing from you.

This is funny but I didn't read your post until after I replied to Peacechild so I didn't know you mentioned the verse about reaping what you sow. That goes both ways whether good or bad.
But she has been a blessing and I wanted to tell her so, but when I started typing all the other just came flowing out my fingers

Isn't that amazing.. thank you thank you.. thank you.. can you tell I am thankful!! I know I have been a blessing.. cause I too have been blessed in just doing that.. So even for all those ones I plant and you plant that we have not yet seen growth or produce from we know that they will too come up if we do not lose heart.. there is joy even in the planting isn't there.. it will all come up.. For HE is faithful... Halleujah.. my breakthrough has come..

There are many who have not experienced that it is more of a blessing to give than to receive.
If you go back a page or two, I said the same thing to pc about being a blessing to so many, how the devil can't stand her because of the love she shows and the Word she is always speaking.
The reaping and sowing scriptures were just something I happened to be meditating on that morning.
