Jesus had a thief running his finances for three years yet still had plenty to do the will of God.

Wow never thought of it like that..

How cool is that..

I think sometimes it has to be so bad before we realize that we cannot do it.. and then GOD says.. here.. let me take the reigns.. and there is no problem anymore..

I love it when Kenneth Copeland was one day teaching.. and he was sitting alongside JESUS.. in the right place.. seated in heavenly places with CHRIST.. and he just grabbed up that bunch of bills.. and waving them said something like..

Here JESUS.. these are yours..

And they are.. and they are paid.. of course Kenneth probably said it so differently.. I can never tell it good they do.. LOL.. but I think you get the message..

So many things in the long run are not important.. I know they stink now.. and we wish they were different.. but they are mostly just distractions thrown at us.. and the more we focus on GOD.. well they become less and less.. GOD is so good.. we will have troubles in this world.. but we can take heart JESUS has overcome the world..

Let us taste and see that the LORD is good.. blessed be HIS name.. Love you all..

One amazing thing tonight.. the scripture on my sig.. bottom one... I went to visit my parents today.. and that same scriputre came up in my daddy's sermon.. I love it.. Ha.. I read his notes.. GOD move amongst those who listen to it.. and stir them up for YOUR glory..

I agree, think on what is good. That's why I only write about good things. It was just that J was getting the wrong impression because I was only presenting one side.

I am keep the love scriptures before me, hold my tongue, and rejoice in that the Lord is my Shelter, and revel in HIS love for me. I have to deal with outbursts of anger from hubby, but I've learned how a soft answer turns away wrath and how to leave the presence of a fool, or I should say when he acts foolishly. I've learned how to pick out every good thing and praise him and admire him for it, to encourage him, and there ARE many good things about him.

I've yet to learn how to talk about money with him not getting angry. I asked him how he would like me to bring it up. After spending much time about it many, many times, I still don't know how to talk to him without him feeling condemned. Those thoughts are the furthest from my mind, yet he feels that way. I bind the enemy that lies to him and pulls him down.

I have to talk about things that are hard for him to hear! We're in this together!

Faith is not living in denial, it is choosing to look at what God says about the matter, not running from it. It is knowing we WILL overcome because we ARE Overcomers.

On the most part I don't get too personal here, or talk about our troubles. I started this thread to exalt the Lord, to talk about the Word thus edifying one another, and for prayer.

Let's bring these matters before the Lord. He hears, and He answers when I call. How much more as we agree together?

I am saying again and again "Thank you Lord I am as rich as Jesus." You might think you have to change someone's spending habits to prosper, but it simply isn't true. Jesus had a thief running his finances for three years yet still had plenty to do the will of God. A few cigarettes and credit card charges don't even add up to anything in God's economy.

One sermon series that really blessed me was Keith Moore and "Would Jesus wear a Rolex" - it really blessed me. You can watch it for free on moorelife ministries (google it).

We are currently holding a healing crusade in August for 4 nights. I have known people prepare for crusades before and say you will never know how expensive they are until you hold one. We have been funnelling hundreds of pounds into this crusade and the Lord has told us to not even hold an offering at all at any night of the crusade for any reason. This is why we need revival money from revival faith - every extension of the kingdom of God is financially expensive, and God wants us to fund it. God wants all of us to have more than enough.

I pray for witty ideas for wealth generation for everyone reading this,

I use to think the first one and have regressed to survival faith. Being honest. Now you are challenging me. Iron sharpens iron. Thank you for that.

I do thank and don't complain, mastered that, but again, you are challenging me, or the Lord is with "rich as Jesus', for that is truth. That is undeniably true. Yeah, I could see Jesus with a Rolex. I could see a lot of things about that.

Your situation is much like ours. I was a stay at home mom, homeschooling our youngest and things happened that caused me to go back to work. I know the Lord sent me where I am. There is consolation in that, and rejoicing too. Also, I am currently taking a course to be a certified health and wellness counselor. My schedule is quite full and I doubt I will homeschool anymore. My daughter needs more structure at this time.

Father, we come to You in full confidence knowing You hear us, and that You answer us. We give thanks that all the finances will be in for the meetings You are conducting through Ben. We thank You for leading him in everything. We thank You for more than enough.

We ask also for their personal finances. We declare no lack, because You are our Shepherd and we want for nothing.

We thank You for showing pc and I as godly wives how to be a blessing to our husbands, living the Word before them in such a way to bring conviction, and to invoke a thirst within them. We thank You that nothing can affect our undisturbed composure as we remain seated with You. We will not leave this place here, under the shadow of Your wings.

We release all who have wronged us, and ask You to bless them and draw them ever nearer to You.

Unite us more and more here as we remember You are in us and we are in You, and we are members of one another.

Thanks for your kinds words and your prayers as well. We homeschool our 4 children, so my wife works day and night. She is awesome, absolutely awesome.

It is time to stand up for God. My son phoned me up at work today and told me what he wanted for his sport, and listed the list to me, I felt so much compassion for him I wanted to go out and buy the whole lot for him, and top quality. The Lord told me: That's What I feel for you - only your feeling is imperfect, and mine is perfect.
