Praying for you, HEisGood. May the Lord direct you and lead you forth in peace.
Hi Cindy.. I am glad you shared that.. so many times you are here for us.. I want to be hear for you too..
Dear Father God thank YOU for Cindy.. for her love.. her giving of herself so freely and without measure.. Father thank YOU for hard times because it is when we are most weak and needy YOUR strength is made perfect..
Father YES she trusts in YOU and sees YOUR salvation.. YOUR ears are open to her call.. Father thank YOU that YOUR strength flows through her right the way through.. And she is in that restful place.. let her be at rest completely.. Father whatever it is that is needed I speak provision and abundance to fill its place.. and faith to see and ears to hear that this is done.. Father I add my faith to hers and together we put to flight the enemies who come against her.. see the angels who encamp around her.. they are strong because she fears YOU.. YOU are faithful to her and will see her through to green pastures.. and through the valleys YOUR rod and staff they are her constant guide.. She will leap over a wall.. standing on solid ground.. on the heights.. Halleujah.. YOUR kindness be her guide.. amen
2 Samuel Chapter 22
David sang the words of this song to the LORD when the LORD had rescued him from the grasp of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.
2 This is what he sang: I "O LORD, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer,
3 my God, my rock of refuge! My shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior, from violence you keep me safe.
4 'Praised be the LORD,' I exclaim, and I am safe from my enemies.

Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”
Thanks to RAL and Cindy and Irene and everyone for the encouragement

I dropped to my knees in worship and prayer and the Word of the Lord came as soon as I hit the floor. I had been in the Word and prayer for quite a while before. I am posting this Word to me because I think it may be a Word to others as well. Here is what He said.
I AM always gracious toward you. My hand has always been extended. When you come, sit down, and quiet yourself in My presence you will see this. You will know how great My love is for you.
It was you stepped away, when you were too busy to come, that you stepped into fear. You listened to the many thoughts fear fed you.
I say come. Feed on My faithfulness and surely you shall dwell in the land.
I AM always here. I nver leave. You come. And as you dwell in this palce and learn to think on my thoughts you shall go forth in joy from faith to faith, victory to victory, higher and higher. This is how you mount upon wings as eagles. Didn't I say it was for those who wait? For those who look expectantly to Me?
It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord.

Strive with all diligence to keep out that monster unbelief. It so dishonours Christ, that he will withdraw his visible presence if we insult him by indulging it. It is true it is a weed, the seeds of which we can never entirely extract from the soil, but we must aim at its root with zeal and perseverance. Among hateful things it is the most to be abhorred. Its injurious nature is so venomous that he that exerciseth it and he upon whom it is exercised are both hurt thereby. In thy case, O believer! it is most wicked, for the mercies of thy Lord in the past, increase thy guilt in doubting him now. When thou dost distrust the Lord Jesus, he may well cry out, "Behold I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves." This is crowning his head with thorns of the sharpest kind. It is very cruel for a well beloved wife to mistrust a kind and faithful husband. The sin is needless, foolish, and unwarranted. Jesus has never given the slightest ground for suspicion, and it is hard to be doubted by those to whom our conduct is uniformly affectionate and true. Jesus is the Son of the Highest, and has unbounded wealth; it is shameful to doubt Omnipotence and distrust all sufficiency. The cattle on a thousand hills will suffice for our most hungry feeding, and the granaries of heaven are not likely to be emptied by our eating. If Christ were only a cistern, we might soon exhaust his fulness, but who can drain a fountain? Myriads of spirits have drawn their supplies from him, and not one of them has murmured at the scantiness of his resources. Away, then, with this lying traitor unbelief, for his only errand is to cut the bonds of communion and make us mourn an absent Saviour. Bunyan tells us that unbelief has "as many lives as a cat:" if so, let us kill one life now, and continue the work till the whole nine are gone. Down with thee, thou traitor, my heart abhors thee.

Unbelief robs us. It cuts us off from our source.
Spurgeon wrote a bit from the negative aspect, though true in what is written. Between the lines we read, you bad child of God, you bad bride of Christ to doubt Him.
He loves us still. His heart is ever yearning for us and His arms open to us. He hates unbelief becasue it hurts us. Needless to say, we bring more glory to God when we believe Him, glory because His goodness has a way of overtaking us and seen in our lives.
Lets look at the postive side of Spurgeon's reflections.
1. We honor Him when we believe Him.
2. His presence is known among us when we believe.
3. We must aim to sow good seed that we may reap a good harvest.
4. Abhor sin. Unbelief is sin.
5. Faith pleases God and prospers us.
6. The Lord is merciful.
7. Remember the things He has done for you in the past.
8. Jesus says, "Trust me. If I bore your sin, shame, and sickness in my suffering at the cross when you did not know Me yet, will I not help you now that you are cleansed?"
9. Though you may be faithless, I remain faithful.
10. All things are Mine. All things were made by Me and for Me. I AM Lord over all. Nothing was created without Me.
11. I AM the All-Sufficient One.
12. I AM Jehovah-Jireh.
13. I AM the Fountain of Living Waters.
14. I own the cattle on a thousand hills, and the hills too.
15. There is enough in the earth for every living creature to have more than enough. I did not create it to lack.
16. I AM the Alpha and Omega. You can not exhaust My supply.
17. Do not believe the lies of the enemy. He goes about seeking whom he may devour. But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not.
Hope you don't mind that I chewed this up. We should chew and meditate on things, I think. I hope this wasn't offensive in me doing so. I felt like I had to turn it around.

Thanks for praying for me in the storm. There are storm reports somewhere upthread.
