Hi Cindy.. today our church had a special service.. We are donating many Christmas shoe boxes to needy children.. All of the boxes were placed at the front of the service.. We together prayed over them for the boxes to get to the children safely and for the children to come to know JESUS and Gods love for them through the gifts and those who deliver them who will also share the message of salvation and the love of Jesus for them!!
Here is Zali (7)our youngest with her box for a special little girl God has already chosen.. Conner 10 packed one too for a boy!! Praise the LORD!!
Ah, the shoe boxes. We do that in America too. What a wonderful thing.
How precious to see your Zali! This is very touching to me, I suppose because of our friendship now for what? 2 years? Words fail me to tell why it is so touching. It just is. Wish I could meet your girl, and all the rest of them.

Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”
Has anyone else got pictures to share?? Thanks for your kindness Cindy!! ((HUGS))

Zali is beautiful! I like her name too. Thank you for sharing.
Yesterday, Bill Johnson was in Seattle and I attended his service. He has such an amazing presence. Calm, low-key, but then he whacks you with the power of his words. His sermon was about courage, and how the courage of just a few, ignites the courage of us all. I wrote down as much as I could, but I'll have to go back and see if the church posts their sermons 'cause I know I missed a lot. Here are a few cool quotes:
"Courage and boldness releases the miraculous. Boldness moves the hand of God. Courageous people make declarations that attract God into their midst. When we preach what is humanly possible (as done in most churches), we don't glorify God. We much confront the impossible, because nothing is impossible for those who believe."
All in all, it was a great service.
Hey, Curry Blake is coming to town (well, Seattle) in November! I've registered.
Update on the dog. She's better. I've been feeding her a completely raw diet lately. Her skin infection is gone, and her tumor is smaller and no longer hot. In other words, she's an entirely different dog then she was a few weeks ago.
I read something about Titus, and encouragement, I think in the prophetic thread, and then read this on every day prophesies for normal everyday people from Ras Robinson, let us all be encouraged

September 14, 2008. Storms are preceded by depressions. I say unto you allow Me to comfort you in your times of depression. You may feel like giving up but don’t do that. Instead, come before My throne of grace and receive mercy. Mercy is grace you do not deserve but for the blood of Jesus. Run to me like a teenager rushing to a cool creek swimming hole on a hot day. You will find My grace and mercy covering you like the waters of that creek. With this comes My encouragement. I will make you joyful again. But notice that in My scriptures, I used the arrival of Titus for the breakthrough. Look for Titus today because he in type and shadow is still around and available. Better yet, be a Titus to someone. 2 Corinthians 7:6 “But God, Who comforts and encourages and refreshes and cheers the depressed and the sinking, comforted and encouraged and refreshed and cheered us by the arrival of Titus.” (AMP)Ras Robinson*
September 14, 2008. I want to bring something to the forefront of your mind today. I am in control. There is nothing that can overcome you, if you but trust in Me. I have given you strength to walk through what you face. I am The Over comer and I have made you to be an over comer. I have made a way for you through all that the enemy has thrown your way. There is nothing that has come or will come against you that you and I cannot rise above. I am beside you, in you, to comfort, teach and guide. Be aware of My presence and feel Me close to you. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.” Bev Robinson**
I keep feeling led to share my teaching from last wednesdays bible study so here is highlights
Oh so Satisfied
Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
Jesus said to Peter in John21:15-17, three times like it was of vital importance to "feed my sheep"
We wil not be in lack or want, and completly satisfied in Him, "if", we allow Him to lead us, "and", we obey Him
Simple obedience
Doers of His Word and not hearers only
Keeping our temples clean
Went to story of Israel in the wilderness when they were complaining about no food in Ex 16
God miracuosly sent down out of heaven manna for brunch Ex 16:4 and quail for meat in the eve for dinner vs 13
Jesus the bread of life sent down from heaven John 16:31-35
The meat of the Word Heb 5:12-14
The manna was sweet like honey to the taste Ex 16:31
Psalm 119:103 The Word is sweet to our spiritual taste, it satisfies our Spirit man and gives us peace and joy, and ultimatly douses our hungry flesh, the Word and the Spirit is all we need to be satisfied
Water from the rock Ex17:6 !cor 10:4 That rock was Christ
Ended with Psalm: 78:12-25
12 the miracles he did for their ancestors
on the plain of Zoan in the land of Egypt.
13 For he divided the sea and led them through,
making the water stand up like walls!
14 In the daytime he led them by a cloud,
and all night by a pillar of fire.
15 He split open the rocks in the wilderness
to give them water, as from a gushing spring.
16 He made streams pour from the rock,
making the waters flow down like a river!
17 Yet they kept on sinning against him,
rebelling against the Most High in the desert.
18 They stubbornly tested God in their hearts,
demanding the foods they craved.
19 They even spoke against God himself, saying,
“God can’t give us food in the wilderness.
20 Yes, he can strike a rock so water gushes out,
but he can’t give his people bread and meat.”
21 When the Lord heard them, he was furious.
The fire of his wrath burned against Jacob.
Yes, his anger rose against Israel,
22 for they did not believe God
or trust him to care for them.
23 But he commanded the skies to open;
he opened the doors of heaven.
24 He rained down manna for them to eat;
he gave them bread from heaven.
25 They ate the food of angels!
God gave them all they could hold
LET YOUR KINGDOM COME
The Lord Jesus needs to be given his rightful place to reign in us,
For two thousand years the church has prayed “Thy Kingdom Come”
Yet many of us forgotten that the King of the Kingdom is Jesus,
So dear King have your way in us, that your Kingdom might truly come.
For like any King you need to have somewhere to reign in,
Yet here we are longing for the fullness of your Kingdom to come,
And you are waiting for us to die to selves completely that a new level may be heralded in,
Purify our hearts Lord, change us deep within that your Kingdom might come.
Lord our desire is to see your Kingdom invade this earth in a new and fresh way,
And you have called us into your service each moment of every day,
Whether at work, college, ministry or play we are to live for you alone,
For we are so blessed to be your sons and daughters, that you call your own.
Teach us what following you is all about, we know it comes with a cost,
But you would have us to come in ready obedience taking up our cross.
When you have your full way in us, true signs and wonders will follow in this hour,
Greater works will be seen when you reign and your people walk in full Holy Spirit Power.
So Lord we are asking you to come and take your place truly reigning in us,
For our hearts burn with longing for more of you our King, dear Lord Jesus,
And we want to be a strong beam of light shining in the darkness in this new season,
That the people out there might know that you live and find life’s meaning.

What a beautiful child and yes we have shoe boxes over here in the UK too, it is wonderful to see children desiring to give to those less fortunate. The kids in our church all forsook their gifts from Santa last year for them to go to kids who had very little. They each received selection boxes but no toys from Santa.

I would love to have a digital camera. Then I could share pictures.
Irene, your poem brought tears to my eyes. I want His kingdom to come. And everywhere I go I am bringing the kingdom of God as His ambassador. I want to see people saved, delivered, and healed.
ral, what a blessing to hear Bill Johnson. Sounds like a good message - bold and courageous. I believe that is what it takes to live in these last days.
He'sGood, I have been thinking on Jesus, the Bread from heaven today, and about the Rock gushing forth with water in the desert for two days. We are on the same page, brother!
I've also been thinking about how God sent Jesus from heaven and how Mary received Him. She received Him by words, "Be it unto me according to Your will." We receive all heaven has to offer by words. God has sent Jesus from heaven to save us. All we need is in Him. We have access to every gift He gives and we receive it first by believing in our heart, and then by confessing with our mouth. Even in the OT, Joshua and Caleb SAID, "We can take land. Let us go up at once, for God has given them to us." They believed God's Words and said with their mouth. But it didn't stop there. Faith acts. They acted on His Word and went up to take it. Joshua lead them into the land of promise, and they conquered.
Let us go up and take our "land". For Irene, it is rescuing the lost. For pc4, He'sGood, and I it is receiving the finances we need. For most of us, if not all, it is lost loved ones coming into the kingdom.
Praise God there is nothing too big and nothing too small. The LORD heals dogs too! Praise God ral's dog is better. He directed her in how to care for her. Hallelujah! What a God we serve!
Our service was wonderful Sunday. The message was on worship, true worship, what that is and what it looks like. Hope to have some notes to post, but it looks unlikely. Sorry. Too much going on.
pc4, as I walked this morning at 7 am, I saw the huge full moon shining brightly in the western sky as it was setting. And I thought of you. It was 10 pm there and if you had looked out, we would have been looking at the same moon at the same time. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning once again, wondering if you see it too.
Isn't it great we can all behold the beauty of the LORD at once? We can all enter His presence to behold His majesty.
