Just wondering for those in business. You see someone violating the rules (forums, message boards, other business platforms), and this someone is your competitor, will you report him/her to the mods or authority?
If you report, is this the right Christian way? And will reporting and putting hurdles for your competitors result to backlash from God, like slow or no sales? Other than that, you are doing a honest business, treating customers and vendors with respects, diginity and making payment promptly (to vendors). Not cheated on your customers or vendors.
My apologize if my questions sound silly, but I'm confuse by this.
We're (my husband and I) in a web-based home business and like yourself we see a lot of things that's just NOT right. We have chosen to just turn the other cheek, even though we have been turned in once, IT was a honest mistake we just didn't know and saw tons of others doing it. Do you think the person knows or just refuse to play by the rules?
If you consider a forum just another platform for advertising ideas and opinions, you can be justified in protecting people from mis-information. The public is entitled to protection from people who do and say the wrong thing. It shouldn't be about protecting you, but protecting the public from being taken advantage of. If you have anyone, competitor or not, lying on a forum, you have an obligation to correct them and to report them if necessary. If a competitor is lying about your business or products in order to gain an advantage that is not justified, you are entitled to correct this in the interests of honest trading. It's about maintaining an honest marketplace, not revenge. If your actions are aimed at revenge, you are just as wrong as they are and God is justified in bringing you to account as well.

Psa 2:1 Why do the nations plot, and why do their people make useless plans?
Mat 16:6
And Jesus said to them, Take heed, and beware the leaven (lies) of the Pharisees (law makers) and of the Sadducees (ruling classes).
Considering the seal of Yahshua and those that are sealed with the mark of the beast, the market place is key to prophetic awareness. Personally, I have labored hard. I am not in debt and have been given the required provision to endure the market, I am fully divested. This market is an expanding contraction of debt. It is now a global corruption so large, it is inflated with the entire labor market. Every time someone provides labor at this point, they are supporting the corruption that is devouring their own interest, their own principle. In this country, the rate of return for labor is riding on the Black Horse. This horse is riding across all nations. All nations are guilty of consuming the wine of wrath in the cup of fornication. I do not see a call to provide labor, the only call I hear is to divest and stand fast.

Hi! I'm new to the forum. I'm just going through some of the business threads to gain insight on how people are using this sight as a way to reach out to other Christians. I myself am involved in a home-based business. I've come to learn that there are many benefits to this industry, regardless of the stigma that's out there. The thing I love most about the company I am involved with is the fact that the cofounders are Christian and are amazing givers to the Lords Children. I do, however, love learning about other business opportunities and would love to know what you are involved in, if you don't mind sharing!
I've always been of the mindset that if trouble comes to your doorstep (ie, seeing someone lying, cheating, stealing), then it's probably a good idea to speak up. I would certainly appreciate it if someone did the same for me. On the other hand, I don't go looking for liars, cheaters, scammers just to pick fights and get people. I think there's a big difference between the two.
Oh, and hi to everyone on the business board! I'm new and look forward to some good discussions
Hey GuidedByFaith;
Me too... Newbie to posting etc.
I'm an inventor at heart and just launched my first product via the net. Hoping that God will turn our lives around so we can help lot's of folks!
I think that first you have to check yourself, make sure you are right. Then in the way you deal with situations be open to God and follow what he would want.
