I have never spoken to a Muslim before and am interested in learning about the true Islam religion. I think there are a lot of misconceptions out there and would really like to hear the truth. So if you're Muslim or know a Muslim personally, I would really like to hear from you.
I read your message and would be happy to have a discussion with you on this thread. I guess I will start by asking, what do you believe about the afterlife?

What do you want to know about? where do we start?

If i am being honest with you, you have the capability to find this information for yourself.
Either through reading a book or going to a Muslim forum. It doesnt seem reasonable to ask about Islam on a Christian Forum given that there are probably 4-5 active Muslims here.
There are a number of books which you can get from your local library or even online, or go to a Muslim discussion forum, or ask a question on the following site www.islamqa.com. In fact the answer to your question is probably there (in fact i know it is)
This way you are more likely to get the answer you want without having to go through a discussion forum which from my experience always ends up in some heated discussion as someone always has a comment to make and the thread eventually gets hijacked.

Thanks and Regards
Yes I suppose I could go through a different source. I just thought it might be interesting to hear it directly from a Muslim. If you would prefer not to discuss your religion with me, i understand.

Well if you go to a Muslim forum you will be dealing directly with a Muslim anyways. Try this forum - SalafiTalk.Net
You can post your question there no problem and get the answer as well as other answers perfectly fine. I dont mind discussing my religion with you but you are probably best of using a Muslim forum, because as i mentioned learning about Islam on a Christian Forum isnt the best source of knowledge.
Even if you simply type "Islam, Afterlife" in google you will get the answer you are looking for.
If you still want to hear about it on this forum, then I will draft something up later on today.

Here is a thread that was started with the purpose of learning more about Islam: Ask a Muslim : Learn about Islam
You will see that many questions have been asked and also answered. You can add more questions if you like.
Here is the link for a Muslim forum, there you can also read a lot about Islam: Iman Way
Hope this helps you.

I don't know a Muslim personally, other than the ones I meet on the Internet. Most of them are nice people.
However, I own a very good edition of the Muslim holy book, the Qur'an, both in English and Arabic, and while reading it found many passages that are not to my liking.
