All of Bro Hagin's Books, the first one I read was casting all your care upon the Lord, changed my life... I sure do miss Bro Hagin, he was a wonderful Teacher of the Word of God and of course he stood in the office of a Prophet. Blessings.

Hi Full of Grace! Welcome to CF!
I agree. Kenneth Hagin books are among the best!

I'm reading "God's Promises & Answers for your life" from Thomas Nelson.
It's a 400 page book of Bible promises arranged by topic, in the NKJV.

Reading "Driven by Eternity" by John Bevere for a second time. Am enjoying it, although not sure I agree with all the points he makes. It certainly is making me ponder a few things though. Have a biography on Smith Wigglesworth lined up next.
I read this wonderful little book called God Calling by the 'Two Listeners'. It's about two 'poor, brave women courageously fighting against sickness' and facing a hopeless future, and then God started speaking with them when they were together. ('For where two or three are gathered in my name there am I in the midst of them'.) It became a Daily Devotional with some very striking teachings and Biblical insights. Very inspirational.
I really like "Destined to Reign" by Joseph Prince... have read it two times..

I've got the 'Destined to Reign Devotional' by same! It's very inspirational, and definitely worth having - if only to take a peek every now and then. Of course, I started out reading it everyday and as with all good intentions, well, it just sits there now looking good...LOL
Waste of my time....my fav is The Scriptures or The Word of YHWH.
I burned all of the books...about 4 boxes! I am free from it! HalleluYAH!
Shalom
Interesting point of view. Not one that is Biblical, though.
The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. – 2 Timothy 4.13
Imagine if the great apostle Paul liked to read, that it is a habit all good Christians should be involved in. The wonder of God putting teachers in the church (Ephesians 4.11) means that we can all benefit from good Christian literature.
I am currently reading a book by Kenneth Hagin called tongues. I don't think any of the information is new to me, in fact he says on one page of the book something I have said and preached for years and never heard anyone ever say. Do you know what - that is benefical and encouraging to me. That helps me realize I am not a lone ranger Christian, but part of a body of Christ.
It always disturbs me when anyone does anything anti-intellectual and anti-rational. Burning books is a prime example - unless they are occult books, that is rational and intellectual.
Blessings,
Ben
