Wof Vs New Age

I noticed this video on a thread where wof are not permitted, thought maybe we could discuss the differences between new age metaphysical and Word of Faith.
I am not sure if the poster was trying to equate Kenneth Hagins NDE to the Nde of this new ager.

Kenneth Hagins nde would be Biblicly correct, we know that he had some church upbringing, he stated that he was trusting in his church membership for salvation, therefore he would have seen hell, the lesson he learned was to trust in Jesus alone, no where in any of his writings have I ever heard him say that church membership would get you to heaven.

as far as the woman, yes God is love, I have felt His love, words can not describe the feeling.
and the glory of the Lord outshines the sun, I have had a glimpse of the Lord's Glory.
notice she states it took years to understand what she experienced, she actually studied new age teaching and may have replaced what she experienced with her new found religion, none the less she learned nothing and will end up in hell, if she does not receive Jesus.

I have had a NDE myself.
but I thought it might be good if we discussed the differences between what new age teaches and what word faith teaches, those of us that know the teachings would actually know all the major differences, they are day and night differences.

New age is the mental realm and positive thinking. But Word of Faith in believing with your spirit, your heart, in the good promises of God of written in His Word. New age may think just by saying something THEY can makes it happen. But we believe when we agree with what God says by reminding Him or praying what He says, that God does what He already said He would do for us.

The devil will always try to imitate everything God does. Its just the counterfeit of the real.

and yes excellent Romans 10:9-10 salvation is believing in the HEART, and confession with the mouth (speaking).

as far as the new age (mind science) P Quimby and MB Eddy, sickness and sin does not exist, it is an "illusion of the mind", and P Quimby taught all you had to do was remove that illusion, because sickness was not reality.
maybe someone can help me out or correct me, but with mind sciences, I do not believe a confession matters, you simply have to remove that thought from your mind, because you are not really sick, you just think you are.

correct me also if I am wrong, in word faith, we do not deny the reality of a sickness in our body, instead with a heart felt beliefe we confess with our mouth the promise from God of the healing in our bodies. anotherwords it is of the heart, (faith in God's promises) spoken with our words, in agreement with the Word of God.

around 6:00 in the video it took her 15 years to incorperate (understand) her mission, around 7:20 she did not know what her mission was at the time of her NDE.
she should have threw out the new age books, she already had some new age teaching when she got her NDE.

I must respectfully disagree. I think she is relaying what she understands in the best way that she can and knows how to. Christians do the same thing when they share the theology that they have been taught or come to believe in. Some do it better than others and some have more knowledge than others.

To call her experience and her conclusions a counterfeit I think is to be counterproductive and unfair. She advocates love throughout her video...in fact this similar to countless NDE's who experience heaven.

Just because she has not had the revelation of Christ that we have had (yet) does not mean that God is not leading her to Him. To go in guns blazing with our Bibles and theology shooting down all those who do not line up with our understanding of how God works I think is unhealthy at best.

I know they are not allowed to talk to me about Jesus, there guides won't let them, course if I run into them again, I am going to cast there guides out of them. In the Name of Jesus

love is a commandment of the Word of God
not trying to shoot her down, the spirit behind what she believes, is what I am after, with guns blazing

love is a commandment of the Word of God

Love is not just a commandment, it is who God is. I would not be concerned in the slightest of a new agers bubble. The Spirit revealed reality of who God is is infinitely better.

years back at a different forum, an atheist forum, I used to witness to atheist, and many Christians shared there, there experiences, encounters with the Lord and NDE experiences.
when I was young(er) I was at a church service and the alter call was given, my spirit knew it was me, I was called, I went forward, I saw the Lord in His glory, His glory is not just a white light, it is too bright for us to look at with our eyes, I had to stop looking at his glory (it will blind you), I felt a tangable liquid love pouring over me, it is a love that is awsome, too great for words to describe.
granted that was not a nde.

my nde, 1n our about 87, I had a motorcycle accident, a high rate of speed, hit the concrete head first, no helmet, (scars to proov it). as I lay there the lights are going out, I even said if this is death, I don't care. a light came on in the darkness, all pain left. I was told it is not my time to die, I would have another child, years later I did, or I mean my wife did.
