As we approach the Birthday of the Church, Pentecost Sunday, I think it is a good time to Pray, once again for a New Pentecost in the Body of Christ.
A real freshening of the Holy Spirit that would show the Glory of God all over our Nation and indeed, the world.
Heaveny Father, as once your children sat in the Upper Room, awaiting the Fire of your Holy Spirit, we now sit in our "upper room" with our eyes focused on you. We ask that you send again the Purifying Fire poured out. We ask for a new outpouring of your Spirit on all of the Church.
Renew our Gifts and the Fruits.
I, personally would ask for a gift of evangelism.
Praying that God pours down the Fire of His Holy Spirit on the Body of Christ.

I add amen to your prayer and am in agreement for you to receive the gift of evangelism... I ask for the gift of healing... and also discernment and wisdom so I can say what JESUS would say to those who will listen so that their eyes might be opened and they might see the way to be saved!! Amen
LORD only YOU can bring this.. but we come and empty ourselves of ourselves.. saying we cannot but YOU can.. LORD to see a revival.. to see hearts on fire for YOU.. and YOUR church doing what YOU have told us already that we can do.. believing that we are YOUR body.. so we can impart to those around us life.. and not just life but the abundant life which only comes through YOU.. Bless all those today around our world who are in prayer before YOUR throne.. LORD glory to YOU and to all YOUR church in this world.. I say amen

Tomorrow is September the 8th, (when the church celebrates our Lady's birthday).
What better time is there to ask for our Lady's intercession that the Lord may renew the face of the earth.
I personally believe that a "New Springtime" is coming, when the Catholic church will be the light shining in the darkness.
Already, I can see this beginning to happen as world events are coming to fulfillment. Just the other day in the news, I read an article speaking about how a group of Episcopal nuns joined the Catholic church because their own church had crossed the line by allowing openly gay ministers to preach in their churches.
As more and more protestant denominations become more and more liberal, I can foresee many more people abandoning their churches in favor of the Catholic church.
One thing that we have to pray for is our own Catholics who have fallen away from the mass and sacraments. I read somewhere that it was estimated that (in a poll taken), that out of all the people who call themselves Catholic, only 15 % of them go to church .
We need now, more than ever to pray earnestly for our own members of the Catholic church, who have strayed away from the truth.
Please pray for my own family also. Out of the seven people in my family, four of my children (who are now adults), no longer attend mass.
We had a huge Blessing during our Life in the Spirit Seminar. Our new Pastor celebrated his first Charismatic Mass, 1st Friday. He loved it.
He decided that the Congregation needed to be introduced by the Charismatic form of worship and scheduled us to do the "prime time" Sunday, 11:00 am Mass, using our music ministry. We started with Praise and Worship at 10:30 with our Worship Team and proceeded.
It was awesome. I have a bit of a problem with applause following Mass but was totally shocked when there was not only applause but shouting and standing like a standing ovation at the end of Mass. When we were outside, near as folks approached Father, we heard them begging for a Charismatic Mass at least once a month!!! I even saw folks who had told me they didn't like Charismatics at all, saying they loved it.
It only proves that most folks are mis-informed. They do not know what we are all about.
It also tells me that the Holy Spirit makes us bold. We are truly Soldiers. We are not "charismaniacs", we are Spirit Filled Catholics, manifesting the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
