I'm not 100% WOF but I do agree with them alot on most things/doctrines, I think. When it comes to healing I do have some different ideas on it as well as on prosperity.

The way they place faith as being so important in the life of the believer.

God didn't send His Son to pay for the forgiveness of your sin, and then decide He is going to require you to make installment payments. He only requires you to believe that the FULL PAYMENT was done, over 2000 yr. ago..........then you'll stop trying to make the installments on something you could never pay for anyway. The Good News is that you are debt free!
So why are you Word of Faith. for the same reason that i am a Christian--by the grace of God. it was by His grace that i found the WOF forum here and learned from them and gladly joined them.
What attracts you? fully understanding just how utterly amazing is the grace of the Father, that He should call us His children by grafting us into His family, and elevating us so that we rightfully share with Him all the riches of glory. But even more important than that is His love for us.
What are some of the benefits you have had? Oh my...how can i name them all? He has provided for me beyond my needs both physically, mentally, spiritually monitarily, and in every way i could possibly name.
He has given me His peace which passes every earthly understanding.
i know without a doubt upon what a firm foundation that peace stands because He goes before it with blessing and love.
Nothing-- no task, no need-- was too small or too great for Him.
He has been way beyond gracious to me. When I had a need He was there.
I know that i will never be alone or beyond His help.
He has brought me pure joy.
How has the Word of Faith helped your relationship with Jesus Christ?
It's taught me more about His forgiveness and His faithfulness than i knew about previously. It also helped me to understand a lot more about why Jesus did the things He did while here on earth.
What is the main message of Word of Faith? What faith is, how powerful it is, and why we can have real, assured faith in God.

To understand that the Lord still heals, so that I could receive my own, and pray for many others and they were healed in the Name of Jesus.

I am not totally WOF but have many of the same beliefs.
"If God said it, I believe it and that settles it"
That means I believe I can stand solidly on His Word. That includes healing and prosperity.
I think Psalm 1 is pretty clear.
In the 1970's you couldn't tell a Charismatic Catholic and what is now considered WOF apart. We didn't even try. I understand things have changed but that does not change what I believe.
The solid teaching of the WORD!!! The deeper understanding of what GOD is actually saying and how good it is!! This teaching is so freeing.. so beautiful.. so exciting..
The great encouragement that comes because we know GOD as a good and loving FATHER.. who gives good gifts to HIS children.. who isn't going to strike you down because you fail rather HE sees us as righteous.. and it makes YOU want to know HIM more.. and more.. and more.. GOD lifts us up.. and we are seated with CHRIST JESUS in the heavenlies...
You are filled because you are learning so much.. and the WORD of GOD.. becomes a part of you.. rather something you just have to read and know..
I love JESUS more.. and I can see HIM much more clearly.. I know HE is with me.. without having to see HIM or feel HIM..
The main message of the WORD OF FAITH seems to me to be.. knowing who we are in GOD and living from that.. Righeousness is not just a word.. it is a knowledge of GOD and how HE sees us.. not based on who we are.. or what we do.. but because of HIM.. we are the righteousness of GOD through CHRIST JESUS!
GODS promises become our possesions now rather then when we are in heaven!!
All of this comes though because HE first loved us!! Love is central.. and faith comes by hearing.. and hearing by the WORD of GOD!!
I am not Word of Faith because of any benefit it occurs. I am Word of Faith because it is what the Bible teaches: the Word of God produces faith and faith pleases God and moves mountains, heals the sick, changes life and makes us pure.
To suggest that people are only Word of Faith because of the benefits it entails is to suggest people are only in it for the benefits.
There are benefits to being a Christian, in fact the Psalmist says that He daily loadeth us with benefits. We are told not to forget His benefits such as forgiving us all our sins and healing all our diseases.
Why would I want to be part of a Christianity that ignores the Biblical command to forget not that He heals all our diseases?
