Beauty is good as long as you don't let it deceive you. Remember that Eve thought that the apple was pleasing to her eye, and desirable for gaining wisdom, but God told her and Adam both not to eat of it or they would die.
As beautiful as the Catholic faith is, the one beauty above all is the Jesus Christ died for your sins, forgives you of all you sins, and has made it possible for all of us to be one with the Father, and with Him, and His Holy Spirit.
I would recommend that you cast your eyes on what you know the Lord would approve of. Go to church and look at the stations of the cross, or at your favorite crucifix within the church and pray for the islamic people who don't believe the same as we Christians do about Jesus in the fullness of what our beloved bible tells us in the Old and New Testaments.
Read your bible and don't let beauty deceive you. You can love the people of Islam and pray for their full salvation just as they do for people they believe should be converted to Islam, but we know through the apostolic witness in the New Testament who Jesus really is in all of his fullness. Even Jesus himself spoke of Old Testament prophecy that all related to the fulfillment of his coming.
I hope this helps, and God Bless You very much.
Yes, it does help. Thank you so much for this post! |

Where did you get that?
Islam doesn't believe Jesus is God...or the Son of God but a magnificent prophet who apparently didn't finish what Muhammad supposedly came to do.
Muhammad said he was the last AND GREATEST Prophet [capital P] - when Jesus already said HE was the fulfillment.

I feel that is like Islam...good analogy.

Indeed, you'd be shocked by many of the inaccuracies that are found within the text. Often it is untold, but the Bible has many convincing facts that people would hardly have known at the time. Indeed, on the Qur'an, you'll notice that it makes it mistake on the formation of sperm.
The Bible accurately refers to the numberless stars, as well as to the Earth's round shape and even the water cycle.
The Bible has also been faithfully and incredibly preserved for thousands of years. Experts say that the Bible is essentially 98.5% pure, with the remaining percentage being spelling errors or something to that effect - essentially minimal and doing nothing to change the meaning of the text.
The Qur'an cannot do that, and indeed, no one knows when the first copy of the Qur'an was actually assembled.
Some might affirm that the Qur'an needs to be updated. But the Bible is holy and pure, and it is entirely divine and eternal. It needs no update for the modern era, it gives us no errors or contradictions, as the Qur'an does.
So I don't think there really is any contest. The Bible clearly trumps the Qur'an in every conceivable way.

If all Muslims obeyed their own "Holy" Q'raan, they would 100% beleive the Holy Scripture as they are so instructed to by the Book itself.
They say the Romans did not kill Jesus, because humanity cannot kill what is not wholly human.
They say ALmighty does not beget and is not begotten. Indeed ALmighty is not begotten as He is eternal, and has no beginning or end, but what then of Jesus.
The Holy Q'raan seems to contradict itself saying Jesus is not the only begotten Son of God, but then acknowledge His Holy virgin birth.
I was not born of a virgin, nor was Mohammad, but Jesus was admittedly by both Faiths, therefore Christians, by the Word, acknowledge His Sonhood.
I wonder if anyone could find an out of context contradiction in the Holy Scripture?
Does anyone dare?
ALmighty be Praised

Reps: 180,669,715,725,539,424 (power: 180,669,715,725,555) | | | During prayer meeting last night, I was urged to pray for the Conversion of Islam.
It then came to mind that from the time I became a Catholic in 1955 I remember the Church praying at the end of every Mass for the Conversion of Russia. During my lifetime, I have seen that prayer honored. You must remember that Soviet Communism was athiest and it was a crime to practice Christianity. Very much like it is in Islamic countries.
I believe the Holy Spirit was telling me that we should now become committed to praying for the Conversion of Islam. That I plan to do and would invite anyone else led to do the same.
