Angeline was an average delinquent with a notorious reputation as the toughest in the city. She skipped school, got in fights, and disrespected authority on a regular basis, always the loner. She was so bad, the office of Daniel, Guardian of the Border Between the Worlds, had placed her spirit file in the corrupted pile. This meant that she would never have a place in the Heavens. The only thing that could get her out of there was a shear force of goodwill and understanding of her offences which she wouldn’t know about until she passed from Earth to the Border Between.
Then one day, the impossible happened. Angeline dived in front of a car to protect a small boy, dying in the process. Because of this noble act, she was brought to the Guardian himself, Daniel. The shock and unexpectedness of Angeline’s case resulted in the simple fact that her change of heart left her...misplaced. She was on the fence between being cast into Hell or being accepted into the Heavens because she reveals that her heart was only calloused, not cold stone. The only thing was, the scale was balanced. She didn’t belong in either one.
Still not understanding that she was by all means a ghost, she disrespected Daniel as any other authority. Through several tests and examples, the severity of her case became clear to Angeline. Daniel decided to give her another chance.
On her return to the living, Daniel recruits her to join the newly developing Border Detective Force. The force is involved in tracking down and defeating disruptive demons and humans who might threaten the Earth or the Heavens. Angeline agrees reluctantly seeing as she has no choice. She then learns to use her new abilities that grow as she gets stronger. Too bad she can has to train with a grandma instructor with an attitude as bad as hers and can kick her butt!
((This is the beginning guideline to my thread. I will start with before she dies saving the little boy. Daniel will also be my character. I'm looking for people to join with similar stories and become apart of the Border Detective Force. Earth is styled after modern day, Heaven is ruled by God and Daniel is merely a servent who monitors access between the 3 worlds. Hell is a fathomless pit of all kinds of creatures, big and small. The border that protects Earth from the Hells can be visualized as a big net. The net must be strong to keep the demons that could destroy the world with mankinds evil emotions at bay. For it to be that strong, the net's graphing is a bit big, which lets lesser demon's slip through. Not saying that God is not strong enough to destroy all of the demons for good, but this is for the sake of the story. I'm just going to say that the net protecting the Heavens is very strong because is God dwells there. More in my next post. It's 1 am now, so I will post in the morning.))

((That's fine. I'm going to build on Angeline's back story right now. If you want to post about your character's story before our characters meet, I encourage that. I've also been thinking on the different times of characters I'm looking for and might help create ideas for others.
Good Guy ideas:
1. Humans in a similar situation as Angeline, but be original.
2. Angels assigned to the Border Detective Force by Daniel for their special abilities. Abilities can include things from pyro/telekinetic to mechanical genius to a super strength tank. Just make sure that the abilities are limited to 3.
3. If you want a slightly darker history, fallen angels maybe for you. For the purpose of this story, fallen angels are children from either human and angel parents or human and demon parents. They have features from both sides but have a natural ability to conceal them and look human. a.e. Red eyes from a demonic heritage can be show as blue or green at will, but will still glow very dully red in the dark like cooling coals of a fire. Feature ideas could be wings, the red or purple eyes, sharp ears, horns (demons only), green or red tinted skin (demons only), or tails. These are ideas, feel free to expand.
4. A more rare race due to the hatred of their parents are the Emir. Demon and angel. The parentage mix leaves the offspring with a spiral of conflict within themselves and often ends with them getting killed by other demons or slain by angels that see them as abominations.
There is currently only one Emir that is rumored to live still. He hunts to avoid being hunted.He is inky black with charcoal grey patterns on the skin, green eyes with dark grey wings and brown, almost black hair. Rarely seen, he was last spotted 12 years ago. If he still lives, he would be only 29 years old. His parentage is not known, but they must of been strong for him to be alive still without his blood tearing him apart from the struggle for control inside him. He was only know as Inkutsu.
I still have not decided if I will use Inkutsu in this story or not. Feel free to tell me if I should or not.
If you want to be a bad guy, PM me. I wouldn't mind having a villain being played by someone else. We can discuss it and the vague plot line if anyone is interested. I will come up with an outline of the villain if suggestions are needed. Thank you!))

Well, if you want my opinion, I think it would be cool if you did both. You could introduce him into the story as a villain and give him a change of heart later on. But he doesn't necessarilly need to feel strongly for either group.
