Creation is showing us the frames that many can't see because they are way too busy with their nose barried in the Bible. Look up and out to God's Creation and at what it is telling us. Creation is after all signed by God's signature.

Hespera sez...

I wonder how 'god' would think of someone like St Augustine and his idea that all about his corruption and that its wrong to enjoy the beauty of nature. "He' presumably made it and pronounced it to be 'good" (very good, perfect)

Likewise about the beautiful and fascinating record in the earth, of how everything about us developed over the millions of years. How would the creator feel about people who refuse to see what is there in front of them, wont permit their minds to see it because... what? It requires a little intelligence?

OK so I used sarcasm? But what else are you to use when "scientist" try to make something out of nothing just to try to prove we evolved from apes/lemurs/raccoons, what have you.

My point is "If it looks like a duck, quacks like duck, waddles like a duck, it's not a dog".

I believe opinions are still allowed, right?

Oh and I do take offense being called a child just because I don't believe what the scientist are trying to feed us.

hespera sez...

First off, that is not what scientists are doing. but if they were, the way to fight fire with fire is with fire. The problem for creos is that they dont have one piece of data on their side. That is what reduces people to sarcasm or goddidit.

IF someone makes an unverifiable statement, with no data to back in in science, they can and do get shot down in flame. In religion....

Opinions are great! They are even better when they have solid data, which if it doesnt quack, doesnt walk of fly, cannot be seen and has no other aspects of existing, it must not be a duck.. you know?

make an objeciton based on reality and you will have something. Otherwise...

nobody said you are a child. You are believing what the religionists are feeding you. Science is not fed to anyone. Learn if you want to, ignore if you like. nobody says you are incapable of morality and going to hell ir you dont. Religion tho....

Anway, dont want to get into a dispute with you but really, you seem to me to ahve such a distorted notion of what science is and how it works that you are battling strawmen and ghosts.

I recall reading a statement about opinions and body parts, and how every one has em.

Don't think I can post it on this site though.

Okay --- let's do that, LightSeeker.

Take a look at this picture, please, and tell me what you see:

Do you see a georgeous picture of a supernova in progress --- or do you see a star in its final stage of death --- or both?

Now, take a look at this, please:

Do you see a magnificent geological creation, or do you see a horrible tear in our planet, brought on as a punishment for sin?

If someone shot the side of your house with a paintgun, would you "oooooh" and "aaaaah" at the marvelous design?

You've never seen the Creation the way God designed it.
  • Perfect humans in glorified states.
  • Absolute harmony with all things living.

Take the rose-colored glasses off and see this universe for what it is --- a universe literally groaning --- waiting for the Creator to step in and do something before thermal equilibrium ends its miserable life.

Ah, but we rarely have only one piece to the puzzle, unlike what you are suggesting. For example, you mentioned Tiktaalik. As I mentioned before, there are at least 13 other named species of fishapods in various stages of intermediacy between fish and tetrapods. Devonian Times - Front Page We also know that fish existed on earth long before tetrapods. How many pieces of the puzzle do you require before you can open your eyes long enough to see the big picture?

What a miserable picture your religion paints of our universe. No wonder you wait and wait and wait for your god to "fix" everything so that it appears rosey to you. Considering your god's track record with "fixing" things, however, I would expect this next fix to be just as incomplete and temporay as all the rest.

Let's look around your little world and see what the "scientists" have provided for the engineers and technical people that have built your conveniences.
1. You drive around in a car
2. You keep your house warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer.
3. You keep your food from spoiling in a refrigerator/freezer.
4. You can travel across the country in an airplane in just a few hours.
5. You wear clothing made from artificial fibers.
6. You are communicating with people across the planet in close to real time.

Should I go on?

Well then.. "If it looks like an intermediate, quacks like an intermediate, waddles like an intermediate, it must be an intermediate." Unless of course, your interpretation of scripture demands otherwise.. right?

Sure... what knowledge of paleontology and biology are you basing yours on?

I think you mean beacuse you don't want to believe what scientists are telling you. BTW..Congratulations on not putting quotes around "scientist" this time.

i'm sure some of my more scientifically minded people can come up with 26 fossils that show a progression of molecules to man. Is that what your asking A-Z? What might be missing is more akin to proper syntax.

If they can show you 26 fossils that show said progression, would you believe in evolution?
