In reference to apologetics, do you ever tell people, such as friends or coworkers, that the universe had a beginning, and that God is the cause for the beginning? If you do think that, then how do you answer someone who asks you how we know the universe has a beginning?

No YECs think the universe had a beginning? No YECs use the first cause argument? This surprises me.

If it has no beginning? Nothing could age. It would be eternal. Timeless...
Infinite aging. Mmmm...... Anyone care to put a calculator to that?

You can not age something that has always existed.
You tell me how its to be done? Elaborate. .
The universe would be unageable (sweet word), but not things within the system since age is a relative term. An eternal prexistence of the universe would have no change on the fact that the fire in my fireplace is 2 hours old relative to the surface of the earth. The way we determine age now would not change were the universe to have no beginning.

Please.. Define your definition of "the universe." What constitutes, "the Universe?"
