And if that's not what you mean, what do you mean?
Proof of Christianity, or proof of God, since Christianity is about following Christ who is God: How do we prove God?

Well, I would say pretty much the same way evolutionist attempt to prove evolution.

The actual process of evolution as Darwin described it cannot be visibly seen, even as God Himself cannot be visibly seen, but the evolutionists attempt to prove evolution through evidence that is visibly seen; the things of the physical/material world.

If evolutionists can use the physical/material world as evidence in their attempts to prove that which in not visibly seen as Darwin described it, how much more can we who believe in an intelligent designer God use the physical/material universe as evidence of God.

Evolutionists are allowed to do that but we can’t?

Well, I think God has made it very plain and very clear that intelligent designer believers can use such evidence:

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge...Ps 19:1-2.

For the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine naturehave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made (the physical/material universe), so that men are without excuse...Rom 1:18-20.

I think the evidence is “plain” and “clearly seen” as Paul described it.

But, just as evolutionists attempt to explain to many people like myself the visible evidence for evolution to no effect, even so our explanation of the visible evidence of God to many people is to no effect. But, as Paul said, they have no excuse.

The fact that they have no excuse is because they have the visible evidence of proof all around them; it is “plain” and “clearly seen” without a shadow of a doubt. People will actually be condemned by God’s wrath for such doubt.
Again, you didn't answer my question. I wanted to know how you know that doubt in other people comes from distraction. That you find doubt in yourself to be caused by distraction is interesting (sort of), but I'm asking how you know how doubt happens in other people. In case you hadn't noticed from this thread, lots of people think in different ways than you do.
No, my doubts have nothing to do with being distracted.
Doubt: to hesitate to believe, to distrust, to fear, to be undecided in belief, a feeling of uncertainty about the truth, to be apprehensive about the truth.

All these are natural responses by a person who is distracted from God’s truth.

For the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness...Rom 1:18.

Wickedness comes in many forms, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”... Rom 3:23.

Whenever we sin, or do wickedness, we “suppress the truth” and become distracted from that truth because of our focus on the wickedness.

Even though we can repent of our wickedness and be forgiven, the fact remains that we do practice wickedness sometimes, for some people, it is all the time, and this wickedness distracts us from the truth that God wants us to always walk in.

Anyone distracted from walking in truth is in effect walking in doubt. We live in truth or we live in doubt. We walk in truth or we walk in doubt. Any man who does not believe the truth or live in the truth or walk in the truth is in effect living and walking in doubt, a doubt unlike any that is known to man.
