If the bank thinks the idea is a good one, and the plan a good one, a loan will be negotiated.
If you truly have 0 to start with, it will be very hard to get a loan, but it is still possible. All you have to do is come up with a truly smart business idea and convince a bank manager of it.

Of course, if you can write up an amazing business plan you may be able to get away with not paying as much or anything into the business at startup.
A couple friends of mine and myself have been discussing a business venture ourselves, but haven't yet figured out how to come up with the initial investment.

The problem with starting out with no money is that you have no money!
Sounds obvious right. Get a loan or let someone else own a piece of the business, those are your choices.
You are only going to get a loan for the business - to buy equipment, maybe inventory. Not money for operations - rent, utilities.
If you sell someone a piece of the business you have to deal with that when you are making decisions about how the business is run.
Either way you have NO money to live on while you get this thing up and running.
I would tell you to work for someone else in the same kind of business. Learn all you can, save all you can. Wait until you have some money and can afford to do this. |

Reps: 3,403 (power: 12) | | What about an online business? You don't have to pay for space and upkeep. Can you sew or make something? I know ladies are getting good money making cloth diapers. Think of the skills you can do well and if there's a demand for it, then market it on the internet. I think that would be a great start before you have a physical business. |

Reps: 34 (power: 0) | | I got started by taking before/after photos of my skin problems and going on Ebay.
I was able to quit my full time RN job by month 2.
It cost me $19.95 to start, plus the price of the products.
You just have to be creative and think of the need out there. Right now, health and Beauty are by far one of the best ways to cash in on some money (billion dollar industry)
Hope this helps. Originally Posted by RedNova I want to go into business for myself and I was wondering how I could start without any money. Is this possible. Can someone help me out?

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | I've been thinking of opening up a computer business in Mexico. My dad has had this house/apartment building that he has been setting up for the past five years. He's almost done with it and he thinks I should set up the business on the bottom floor of the building. The only thing is since it's in Mexico, I would have to take a risk and move, but then I would risk losing the decent job I have hear. I have been praying for an answer, and now I'm just waiting for a response. All I can say is SAVE! The more money you can put up, the more you can recieve. Also look for government assistance programs, there are always incentives for small business owners. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
