Toronto Maple Laffs: relegated to a league in Kazakhstan for the 2009/2010 season.
Ottawa Senators: time to rebuild. Their best days are behind them with this group.
Calgary Flames: in a dogfight with a hungry, young Chicago squad - Hawks in 6
Oilers: they need to decide if they want to be a farm team for the NHL or assemble the talent for a winning team - they're pathetic!
Canucks: Canada's only realistic hope in the playoffs. They served notice by sweeping the Blues in the first round. They'll likely play a hot Chicago squad or perhaps Detroit (yikes)!
There may be no Canadian teams left after the 2nd round. |

i was a montreal fan when i was a kid. dont care for montreal fans these days, or the team.
just want boston to win because they have gone so long without. |

I hate it when I'm right. I'm guessing a rematch of last year's final (Pittsburgh vs. Detroit), with the Pens winning this time, but there's still hope for the Stanley Cup match-up that would grieve NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and hockey USA the most.  Anaheim Ducks vs. Carolina Hurricanes
