1 million attend tea parties in 50 states

In estimated 1 million Americans participated in at least 1,000 tea parties, according to reports by organizers tabulating the nationwide numbers, with documented protests held in 50 states.
According to 4 independent estimates the real number was between about 250k and 500k

That seems low, according to Fox, Sacramento got both "around 5,000" and “easily double or triple that”, San Antonia is more than twice the size of Sac and far more Conservative so I would expect it to be far larger.

You are assuming that Fox's estimate of Sacramento's turnout is accurate.
