His church is wonderful, we visit there occasionally, they have a full size old fashioned carousel in the childrens department and an ice cream shop with about as many flavors as Baskins-Robins, although I don't go just for the ice cream its an added benefit.
Ice cream -cool - A double treat
Did you know BY at Rhema? |

Believe it or not, many bookstores dropped all WOF books in the early 90s. Most have picked them back up now that the anti-WoF mania has subsided, but you will still be hard pressed to find any Kenyon stocked anywhere.
Ask your local Christian bookstore to order Kenyon, Hagin, and Osborn. I will dig up the websites from which you can order all these books directly. |

I didn't know that. What exactly caused the anti-WoF mania?

Reps: 164,478 (power: 176) | | I bought nearly all of my (or replaced ones that I gave away) Kenyon books at http://www.kenyons.org.
They have the convenience of being able to find all of his books in one location plus a free newsletter and good teaching exceprts on line.
The publishing society for Kenyon runs an excellent business/ministry and ordering and receiving from them as a great experience. My current library of Kenyon:
New Creation Realities
Basic & Advanced Bible Courses
The Wonderful Name of Jesus
Jesus, the Healer
The Blood Covenant
Two Kinds of Knowledge
Identification
The Hidden Man of the Heart
These are the greatest foundational teachings I have come across. It has confirmed the revelation of the WoF message to me. I was WoF and didn't know until I read the books. HA HA HA!

Galatians 3:19 - What then was the purpose of the Law? It was added because of transgressions and [to make men more conscious of the sinfulness] of sin; and it was intended to be in effect until the Seed (the Descendant, the Heir) should come, to and concerning Whom the promise had been made. |

The heresy hunters caused most of it, they hate all WoF teachings and were embraced for awhile by many "mainstream" denominations that were likely feeling threatened by the fast growth of Word churches.
Troy Edwards (victoryword) has a wonderful website discussing these issues. http://www.victoryword.100megspop2.com/
Hopefully Troy will rejoin us on the forums soon.

Reps: 1,153 (power: 11) | | | i know from our database at work that there is a lot of hagin, copeland, kenyon, etc available to order at the bookstore. if you can find out the ISBN number that helps, alot of things pop up with an ISBN that don't show under title/author/keyword searches.
i love my job waaay to much.

~Liz Curtis Higgs Reputation: something we should not seek, nor is it "given";
it is earned - by a life of increasing Christlikeness;
and yet it is wholly undeserved...
if we realize that Jesus is the only One
who deserves a Good Name.
(as such, i boycott drive-by's.) Offense is like a gift: you can willingly receive it, or you can choose to refuse it.

Reps: 11 (power: 0) | | | I don't go along with everything Kenyon taught. Much of the "redemption in hell" teaching I totally reject and it originated with Kenyon. For the record, Kenneth Hagin stated that he didn't agree with Kenyon on everything either.
Bob Yandian is my pastor and one reason I've chosen him is his balanced and rational approach to teaching. No hype, sensationalism, absurd revelations or nonsensical prophecies. No crackpot guest speakers. No professional athletes or movie stars who talk about Jesus in their pulpit only to be exposed in some scandal a month or so later. Just sound biblical teaching from a WOF perspective. That's a man I can support.
