well some say cus its int eh bible so its a sin so i am going to hate it, others just dont liek them and hide behide the bible. but most are in the middle they dont relly accpcet gays but they dont relly hate them. me i can care less what your sexual pref is is not for me to say one way or other thats for God to do. In my book God loves everyone jsut has they are gay not gay black, white, liers, killers he loves us all so why should i show hate when i am called to love all jsut like God.
People dislike homosexuality because it is disgusting to most people. It takes a very normal and natural desire and warps it into something odd.
It's simply disgusting.
Of course, I do not have to do it, but it is still something that I certainly do not respect.
More on that, there are a lot of super femmed out homosexuals or super masculine lesbians and basically... It is bending our genders. It makes me feel like "wow, you are an annoying twit!" "You're a waste of flesh and bone, you are a waste of life's blood; you will never know any form of love that is not warped nor will you ever even contribute to society through reproduction."
OK, kind of extreme, but there you have it.
I do not even think the Bible has to come into this.
Homosexuality is just repugnant.

“The egalitarian mania of demagogues is even more dangerous than the brutality of men in gallooned coats... Anyone who has been oppressed can get back on his feet if the oppression did not cost him his life. A man who has been equalized is physically and morally ruined." - Ernst Jünger (March 29, 1895 – February 17, 1998)
Since I'm kinda lazy right now I'm gonna copy/paste a reaction I made in another homosexual thread. They all result in the same discussions anyway.
---------
When I see two homosexuals making out on a bench in the park I often think: "Blegh, that’s gross!"
If two homosexuals are kissing eachother while we're standing in line together it probably would make me uncomfortable.
My initial reaction to homosexuality is: "It's unnatural!"
(Initial meaning I haven't given it more than 1 second thought)
However those feelings are just that... my feelings. Not supported by facts, not logical. It's just my preference regarding a specific subject. I don't like strawberries either.
I would gladly sign every pro-homosexual equal right laws/petitions.
It's ridiculous that simpleminded people still act on these basic emotions (that I have too) to limit the rights of other people.
People reading about this in future history books will be amazed that their ancestors were able to set foot on the moon yet be so incompetent at the same time.

I dunno. Maybe it's just an ick factor for a lot of people.
Although I once had an interesting conversation with a hypermasculine straight guy who was extremely hostile to gay men in particular. I wondered aloud if he thought that it could have something to do with a latent fear of rape on his part, if perhaps he expected gay men to be as predatory towards him as he was towards women. His answer was to get real, real quiet and think about it...
But really, I don't know what it is. Sunspots, maybe.

Some people just are hateful.

Others probably just have never interacted with a real, live gay or lesbian person and come to understand they're just another human being instead of some scary monster out to tear down everyone's precious belief systems.
I bet there's a lot of possible reasons.

Yeah, I figure they have met a few times with open gays and have only walked away with the general disgust of meeting an overly effiminate man or overly masculine female...
These are the same guys that want to bash up on metalheads, etc. in high school.
