I glanced at the cage and saw Sparrow sitting alone. He was silent. On the bottom of cage was Heaven, dead. She was three years old. I'll bury her in the morning in the flower garden next to two other parakeets.

Isaiah 8:12-13 (NIV) "Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread."

Bless your heart, billy, I feel for you. I once had a bird who I was playing with on the floor, and he went under my legs (I was bent down on the floor) and my knee crushed him to death. I cried for days about killing him. But it was an accident.
But back to your "Heaven", rest assured that that is where she is at. She's flying with all the other birds in heaven now.
God bless you. Take care.
Well sometimes it's hard to tell if anything is wrong with an animal because they can't communicate like we do. But don't ever blame yourself for it (I am aware that you didn't but I just want you to know not to). From what I understand birds don't live very long anyway, even though they make great pets.
Are you going to get another bird? I think another one would help ease the sadness. Just my opinion.

Sort of the same thing happened to me. But i know what was wrong. I went on vacation with my family and i asked my neighbour to take care of my Ari (that was her name). She fed her mashed potatoes and for some reason Ari choaked on them... I am sorry to hear your news.
