"Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a estival or a new moon or a Sabbath day" Colossians 2:16
This is a very interesting verse. Do you remember being taught about Venn diagrams, where you have overlapping circles? This is a literary example of it.
More literally translated (and structured to show what is going on) it would be:
"Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to your eating and drinking on (lit. the Greek "en merei" reads "in that part of") the feast days or a new moon or ceremonial sabbath days (the Day of Atoinement and the blowing of trumpets, which weren't feast days)

When they are wrong on the simple, why should you listen to them on the more complex?

One rule you can always count on: never, ever trust the critics on anything. They've proven that they cannot, and will not, tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I now have 99 authors in my plagiarism study. The critics still have zero.
The law and its ordinances was nailed to the cross.
It was the record of our sins (cheirographon, in Col. 2:14) that was nailed to the Cross. That's why we don't do sacrificies any more. The Moral Law remains to point out to us that we are sinners and in need of a Saviour and to point us to Christ.

They were hardly led by the Holy Spirit as they seriously contradicted each other.
I've never seen any proof of that, care to share?
